Mackinaw City is a gem! With creative gifts shops, beautiful beaches, gorgeous lakes and adventure activities like zip lining, paragliding, Jet Ferries and horse drawn carriage rides all within your fingertips its an excellent place to visit! And there is no lack in awesome cuisine! Whether your more of a brew and burger kind foodie or a classic Italian girl, Mackinaw City has it all! And although Michigan isn't exactly known for their wine making, its such a treat to taste the different styled wines made right in the area! And no matter the weather Mackinaw City has great activities from snowmobiling to swimming! Come check out the Might Mackinac Bridge, visit the awesome shops and try some of the local cuisine and wine! Typical Tourism sites are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day but don't let that stop you from visiting! The Winter months offer very unique opportunities as well, such as Guided RSturgeon River Rafting, Latern Lit Full Moon Snowshoeing and Snow Mobiling. And no matter where you are in Michigan you are within 5 miles of a body of water, so do ever count out Fishing, Boating or even Ice Fishing! And Northern Michigan has a very unique climate, and when conditions are perfect there is Ice Wine! Come Check out the Mighty Mack and all there is to offer in Mackinaw City and the surrounding areas!
