Curator’s statement
Prague is a city that feels like stepping into a storybook. With its fairytale skyline, centuries-old castles, and cobblestone streets that whisper history at every turn, I was immediately captivated. Standing on Charles Bridge at sunrise, with the soft glow of golden light reflecting off the Vltava River, I felt transported to another time. Experiencing the city’s wonders with my son, who has Czech ancestry, we were able to learn more and immerse ourselves in the culture of his great-great-grandparents, making our trip even more special. The city blends romance, intrigue, and a vibrant energy that extends from its medieval Old Town to its lively, modern cafés and hidden courtyards. Whether you’re indulging in Czech cuisine, exploring the historic quarters, or uncovering secret gardens, Prague is a destination that lingers in your heart long after you’ve left.
