My Story
I’m a Midwest mom of two adult children who believes some of life’s best memories are made while traveling. I love the beach, the mountains, and exploring Europe’s history and charm. Travel, to me, is about family, connection, culture, and meaningful time together. I design thoughtful getaways that feel seamless, personal, and unforgettable.
Travel Style
I gravitate toward travel that feels elevated but never overwhelming. Think stunning beachfront resorts, cozy mountain retreats, and European stays rich in character and culture. I value properties with exceptional service, thoughtful amenities, and a strong sense of place. I like itineraries that leave room to breathe—space for slow mornings, incredible meals, and authentic experiences. My style is polished, organized, and designed to make every moment feel intentional.

We had an excellent experience working with our travel agent, Tara. She planned a trip for our family of six and was incredibly thorough in researching options and booking a lovely hotel that fit our needs perfectly. Every detail was thoughtfully handled.
Tara arranged seamless transportation to and from the airport, booked a cenote tour with a wonderful guide, and provided restaurant recommendations that we truly enjoyed. What really set her apart was how attentive she was throughout the trip—she checked in with both the hotel and with us to make sure everything was going smoothly.
Her organization, care, and personal touch made the trip stress-free and memorable. I would absolutely book through Tara again and highly recommend her to anyone planning travel.

Ambergris Caye: Island Life on the Belize Barrier Reef
Ambergris Caye is the kind of destination that immediately invites you to slow down and settle into island life. Sitting along the Belize Barrier Reef, it offers a beautiful balance of adventure and relaxation—whether that means exploring the reef, spending time on the water, or simply enjoying the rhythm of the island. What makes this place special to me is how genuine it feels; golf carts roll through the streets, local restaurants and beach bars are everywhere, and the sense of community is unmistakable. There’s something about the color of the water, the warm Caribbean breeze, and the easy pace of the island that makes it hard not to relax. It’s the kind of destination where every day feels simple, unhurried, and full of small memorable moments. Ambergris Caye is a place I recommend not just for its beauty, but for the feeling you take home with you.

Tulum: Barefoot Luxury on the Caribbean
Tulum marked a meaningful chapter for our family—the first trip where our children’s significant others joined us, transforming a simple getaway into something deeper. It was a week of shared tables, slow mornings, and conversations that felt different. We relaxed side by side, lingered over dinners, and stepped outside our comfort zones together on a guided cenote adventure that none of us will forget. What made Tulum especially memorable was the balance it offered: time together and space apart. It felt safe and welcoming, allowing each of us to explore at our own pace—beach walks, quiet coffee moments, boutique browsing, or simply rest. Everyone found the version of vacation they needed. In that freedom, we connected more authentically. Tulum wasn’t just a destination. It was a milestone—a trip that marked the evolution of our family.

Colorful Streets & Coastal Retreats: A Guide to Sayulita and San Pancho
Sayulita and San Pancho are special to me because they each offer a completely different—yet equally magnetic—coastal vibe. Sayulita is colorful, energetic, and creative, with a lively surf culture and vibrant streets that feel full of personality. It’s the kind of place where mornings start with coffee by the beach and evenings unfold with music, great food, and sunset views. Just up the road, San Pancho feels calmer and more grounded, with a softer, more intentional pace. Together, they create the perfect balance of spirited charm and peaceful retreat along the Pacific.

Wilderness & Wonder: 5 Days in Banff & Canmore, Canada
Hiking in the mountains has always been about getting back in touch with nature—getting my feet solidly on the ground. Banff is where I was able to reconnect—with myself, with my spouse, with the earth, and with a sense of awe that’s hard to find in everyday life. It’s about the way the mountains make you feel small in the best possible way. If you enjoy the mountains, hopefully you will be inspired to visit Banff National Park and the surrounding areas. You won’t be disappointed.

A Cultural Experience in Brugge (Bruges)
Bruges is a magical place, full of history, architecture and great food. The people were what made this trip spectacular and set it apart from many other locations. Everywhere we went, the locals were excited to tell us about their favorite restaurants, favorite historical sites, or just tell us about their culture.
