Working with our Micah to plan our trip to Italy was truly an exceptional experience. Traveling with a teenager can sometimes be a challenge, but every detail of our itinerary was thoughtfully designed to create a balance between culture and relaxation, with activities curated to keep us both engaged.
The itinerary flowed really well, with a thoughtful balance of activities and downtime. We always had something fun or interesting planned, but never felt rushed or over-scheduled, which made the whole trip feel relaxed and enjoyable instead of exhausting. One thing I especially appreciated was how she structured the trip so it built up and ended with a real “wow” moment—it made the whole experience feel even more special and memorable.
The hotels were all spot-on—clean, in great locations, and each with its own charm. What really stood out was the range of options she was able to offer; it was clear she had access to a much deeper knowledge base than anything I could have found on my own. She presented choices that fit our style perfectly, and each one ended up being a highlight in its own way.
Thanks to her expertise, we were able to experience Italy in a way that exceeded any expectation I could have had. We created memories that I will cherish forever, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Micah to anyone looking to create a truly special journey.

Micah is amazing - I truly could not recommend her highly enough! From the planning stage to the execution of the trip, Micah was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. We explained what we were interested in and from there she curated one of the best trips we have ever taken. I cannot wait to plan another trip with her - she’s fantastic.

Micah helped us pick our wonderful hotel and communicated with them on our behalf in multiple instances—even the day we left, as Portugal had just experienced a hurricane! Micah was always available for any question, and was integral in helping us plan this wonderful 20th anniversary escape. She even helped arrange a surprise bottle of champagne and dessert with the hotel. We would absolutely use Micah again for future vacation planning!

Eastern Sicily in 7 Days
I’ll be honest: when you spend your professional life planning trips for other people, planning one for your own family comes with a certain pressure. It has to be good. Really good. And Sicily, with its ancient ruins, volcanic landscapes, fresh seafood, and that particular quality of light that makes everything look like a Renaissance painting, delivered in ways that even I didn’t fully anticipate.

From Rainforest to Reef: 1 Week in Belize
Belize punches well above its weight. It's a small country, but it packs in ancient Mayan ruins, one of the world's most biodiverse rainforests, the second-largest barrier reef on the planet, and a laid-back Caribbean culture that makes everything feel effortless. February is an ideal time to visit. The dry season is in full swing, temperatures are warm but not oppressive, and the skies are clear. What makes Belize particularly special for families is the variety. My teens were never bored—from the adrenaline of ATM Cave to hikes and horseback rides, to afternoons spent soaking in the scenery and jumping into the nearby river. It's a place that meets everyone where they are.

Marrakech in 4 Days: Where to Stay, Eat & Wander in Style
I always tell clients that Marrakech isn't just a destination—it's a full sensory experience. The moment you step into the medina, something shifts. The smell of spices, the sound of the call to prayer bouncing off ancient walls, the flash of color from hand-dyed textiles piled high in the souks—it's a lot, in the best possible way. I spent four magical days wandering the souks, visiting serene gardens and museums, and dining on rooftop terraces. Marrakech is endlessly captivating; below is everything I'd recommend to make the most of it in four days.

South Africa Luxury Tours: Safari and Beyond
I have long dreamed of a safari adventure. My recent trip to South Africa far exceeded my expectations — and convinced me that a return trip with my family is a must! South Africa is breathtakingly beautiful, and I was in love from the moment I landed. I started my South Africa luxury tour in Cape Town, a gorgeous seaside city with the iconic Table Mountain as the backdrop. Next, I visited Grootbos Nature Reserve, a spectacular marine and botanical reserve offering incredible floral diversity and the Marine Big Five. I continued on to Constantia, South Africa’s oldest wine region, with lush vineyards and scenic beauty. Finally, I travelled to Thornybush and Sabi Sands for my first safari experience, where I saw the Big Five roaming freely in the heart of the African wilderness. Read on to learn more about these South Africa luxury tours.

Island Hopping in Greece: Exploring Paros, Naxos and Santorini

Chic Retreat: A Girls' Long Weekend in Paris
While Paris is often hailed as the city of love, to me, it stands out as the perfect destination for an extended girls' weekend getaway. The world-class museums, rich cultural offerings, delicious cuisine, vibrant nightlife, and, of course, the incredible shopping scene make it an irresistible place to revisit annually. Below, I've crafted a day-by-day guide for the ultimate long-weekend getaway. Although Paris boasts an abundance of incredible museums, monuments, and sites, it's advisable not to cram too much into each day. Opt instead for one or two key attractions daily, allowing ample time to leisurely wander the streets and truly soak in the soul of this extraordinary city.
