I love to travel and discover great hotels, restaurants, boutiques and galleries – both in big cities and smaller, less well-known towns. Great art and architecture are my favorites for sightseeing.

My travel style
I enjoy smaller, boutique hotels, always within walking distance of the sites I plan to visit. Wandering around a city and discovering new and unexpected things is how I spend most of my time, followed up by good meals and good wine. Throw in a street market or art show and it's a great trip!

Recently returned from:
Day-tripping in Dublin.
Visiting family in Puerto Vallarta.
Admiring Moorish architecture in Granada.
Getting lost in the maze-like Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires.
Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.
Morocco's deserts and mountains.
Stockholm and Copenhagen.
Italy, any place I haven't yet been to.
One thing I can't travel without...
Two truths, one lie:
I almost missed a flight because I was having too much fun at the airport bar.
I got lost every time I went out walking in Granada.
I studied Spanish in San Miguel de Allende.
