The last 50 years have seen Portugal establish itself as a modern republic, attracting both visitors and new residents. We love to see a glow up! I had to see if Portugal lived up to the hype, and it absolutely did. Unlike other major cities that are growing weary of tourism, Lisbon’s locals genuinely embrace their city’s recent success. The warm and inviting Portuguese people are truly the highlight and a solid reason to visit.

New Mexico is hands down the most unique of the 50 continental United States, with a heavy influence of Native and Mexican culture. My best friend and I decided to book a weekend away to relax and explore this unique destination, a trip that will forever be commemorated by our matching chili pepper tattoos.

Despite the climate, Stockholm is anything but cold. I happened to be here over New Years, and the city lit up with fireworks and celebrations. Beautifully preserved architecture combined with idyllic views greet you at every turn. Friendly locals and delicious meals await!

My first stop in Savannah was a day trip while on vacation in Hilton Head. I was so captivated with the deep history, great cuisine, ghost stories and of course, the 'to-go drinks'. After that single day, I booked a weekend trip to go back for more time to explore. As a big fan of New Orleans, Savannah felt like it's buttoned-up older sibling. Prague was a 4 day stop on a long European road trip. The Buddha Bar Prague quickly stood out as one of the more unique hotels that we stayed at, but it especially won us over with welcoming and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and tasty on-site food and drink options. The exotic smell of incense fills the common areas and instantly puts you at ease. I would stay here again and again, and recommend it to anyone who visits Prague.

Oktoberfest is one of those legendary 'bucket list' events, and for good reason! Located in the beautiful city of Munich, a destination worth visiting itself and a short trip to many other cities worth checking out. Oktoberfest takes place over 16 days between the end of September and the beginning of October. It's never too early to start planning your travels to experience the legendary Wiesn, and making the most of your time in Central Europe!

I celebrated my 30th birthday in Paris and often find myself thinking about all of the great food I ate there! All of the sightseeing needs some major fuel. From decadent desserts to savory pastries and everything in between. The French have a flair for the dramatics, and that translates to the food and dining rooms as well.
