Williamsburg is one of those neighborhoods where there’s always something new to discover, from restaurants and bars to parks and street art. I love the mix of incredible food, laid-back nightlife, colorful murals, and boutique hotels that give the area its own vibe. Even after living here, I still find something different every time I go out and explore. That mix of creativity, energy, and constant change is what makes Williamsburg such a standout.

I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Susafa hotel in Polizzi Generosa, Sicily during a week-long mother-daughter Sicily trip I took with my mom last summer. Susafa is a family-owned luxury hotel with a rich history that spans over 200 years, originally operating as a farm, granary and winery. Now, as a hotel, Susafa focuses on being an eco retreat for clients to immerse themselves in the culture of the Sicilian countryside. We had the most amazing experience complete with delicious food, remarkable views, a comfortable room and a warm and welcoming staff. I would absolutely love the opportunity to visit Susafa again in the future and look forward to sending clients there too.

I recently hopped across the pond from NYC for a quick, action-packed three-day girls weekend. While Audrey Hepburn may say, Paris is always a good idea, I would edit that to say Italy is always a good idea - especially in the summer. Pizza, pasta, mozzarella, gelato, wine, spritzes and negronis… How could you go wrong? Besides eating, let’s not forget the phenomenal architecture, art, beaches, hotels, views, museums and shopping, etc. Located at the tip of Italy’s boot, Sicily encapsulates it all. I spent just a week dipping my toe into the vast experiences Sicily has to offer and cannot wait to go back and see more.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to help plan and celebrate my cousin’s bachelorette in my own city. We had the most amazing weekend exploring, shopping, eating and partying. The bride and most of her bridal party arrived from Austin, Texas, and throughout the weekend we were able to strike a fun balance of experiencing New York City like tourists and locals.
