My Story
A lifelong wanderer, photographer, and writer. Always plotting an adventure to somewhere new and off-the-beaten-path.
My Travel Style
From living in France after college in order to study painting to walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain to planning solo travel to Paris to booking group trips for friends in Europe and all over the world, my passion for travel has only grown over the years. I now write about city travel and food and wine on my personal blog, sharing unique trip ideas, restaurant recommendations, and fun group activities.
Each destination is so unique and deserves someone who is passionate about planning and research to find the hidden gems that make a trip memorable. That person is me! After many years of personal travel and booking trips for friends, becoming a travel advisor with Fora was the perfect fit for my talents.

Courtney was great to work with! She had great recommendations for us and planned each day well. She included everything that we had mentioned wanting to do along with some of her favorites, which were great! When our plans had to change due to travel issues, she was on top of changing our itinerary immediately!

I'm totally obsessed with Courtney and will probably have her input in all of my trips moving forward because she has great insight and does all the heavy lifting for me (except the heavy lifting of my suitcase, which is pushing in at the airport). She is so friendly and remembers to follow up with me and no matter how outrageous the request is, she somehow finds a way to make an opportunity happen for me. Couldn't recommend more!

Courtney was amazing to work with! She was patient and assertive, making sure that every detail of our trip was precisely what we were looking for! She made the booking process so easy and went above and beyond to ensure that our entire trip went smoothly, from start to finish. We will definitely be using her again!

Courtney did an excellent job helping me plan my trip. There's a lot to do in the Provence region, and she helped narrow down all the options to craft the experience I was looking for. Her list of recommendations for the area is comprehensive and helpful for people who enjoy exploring restaurants and off-the-beaten-path attractions. While I was there, one of my group tours got cancelled, and Courtney was quick to help me find alternatives so my day wouldn't be wasted without something scheduled.

I had an amazing experience working with Courtney for my recent trip! She made the entire process so seamless, from booking the perfect hotel to giving me great recommendations for my stay. The hotel she found for me was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Everything was exactly as described, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Courtney was incredibly professional, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure my trip was stress-free. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable travel agent. I’ll definitely be booking with her again for my next trip!

Melbourne, Australia for the Natural Wine Lover
A city that is the essence of cool, Melbourne has no shortage of lovely wine bars. If grabbing a glass of natural wine after a long day of seeing the sights is your thing, maybe Melbourne is your next destination. I was absolutely blown away by the food scene there, and that includes the wine bars!

Off-the-Beaten-Path in Ischia, Italy
A few days spent wandering around the Italian isle of Ischia is a dream. The volcanic nature of the island means fruits grow everywhere - pomegranates, lemons, olives - and thermal hot springs abound! Add to all of that the Italian hospitality, food and gorgeous beaches. Ischia truly feels like paradise.

New York City for the Natural Wine Lover
As with many things in New York, the natural wine scene is out of this world. NYC is never short on exciting things to do, cool bars or trendy restaurants; there is nothing quite like spending a day roaming around the city and ending it with drinks at a fabulous natural wine bar. It's my favorite destination to return to over and over again!

Off-the-Beaten-Path in Chattanooga, TN
Nestled in a curve of the Tennessee River and sheltered by mountains and ridges all around, Chattanooga deserves its Scenic City nickname. There are views for days here. Chattanooga is a charming town in a beautiful setting, which many people travel to for its myriad outdoor activities, but you know I’m always here with the city day recommendations.
Though its small, Chattanooga’s city scene is mighty: even if you’re headed there for outdoor adventures, you should carve out some time to spend in the city itself.

Marseille is one of those underestimated destinations that is often overlooked on trips to France: it's a hidden gem! Marseille is a culturally diverse and rich city, full of incredible food, brilliant sights and loud personality. It's the kind of city you fall in love with at first sight, regretting all the years spent apart from it, wishing you'd met Marseille sooner. If you find yourself so lucky as to have even a couple of days in Marseilles, here’s what to do to make the most of your time there.

Naples, Italy for the Natural Wine Lover: A Wine-Focused Guide to the City
Napoli! It’s a city that must be followed by an exclamation point for it’s a city that lives life at full tilt. Everywhere you go people are exclaiming, cars are honking, crowds are bustling, motorcycles are speeding down pedestrian-only streets. In Naples, nothing is done half-heartedly. Everything is done (and said) with an exclamation point! This is especially true about food and drink. The natural wine scene in Naples is delightful. Read on to discover where to sip natural wine in this iconic Italian city.
