My husband I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy Casa de Campo in a Premier Suite, which was lovely and afforded a beautiful golf course view, a location close to everything, personal concierge service, and a separate reception, complete with food and drinks throughout the day and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Casa de Campo is built around three amazing golf courses. Linx is for beginners, and both Dye Fore and the well-known Teeth of the Dog are more challenging. Each rental or hotel room comes with at least one golf cart to explore the surrounding property.

It would be a dream for those who participate in the sport, but it doesn’t stop there. We are not golfers, but were able to relax at the beautiful pools and beaches, visit the amazing spa, eat and drink our fill, and exercise it off in a wonderful gym. There are hundreds of horses on the property, and we had the opportunity to ride them on a guided tour. This activity is available to all who have purchased the all-inclusive plan. From November to May, you can also see polo matches there, and at any time, you can take both riding and jumping lessons. We were also able to take some trap shooting lessons from a trainer and found that to be quite fun, too.

A huge property, consisting of everything from moderate hotel rooms to 10-bedroom villas, Casa de Campo is wonderful not only for a romantic getaway or group golf trip, but even more so for large multi-gen groups and wedding parties. With a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding and stunning accommodations, Casa de Campo can accommodate any size party and is happy to provide everything from food delivery to butler, maid, and nanny services. Villas range from three to four bedrooms to exclusive oceanfront six-bedroom homes, some with beach access and a mid-size car included. With something for everyone, and a very elevated vibe for a property that offers an all-inclusive supplement, Casa de Campo is a great option for a warm weather getaway.

If direct flights are available from your location to La Romana, I would try to arrange them. If not, the hotel can book you a private driver from Punta Cana for a reasonable rate. Get ready for a bit of sticker shock on the prices in some of the shops and in the spa. It is among the most expensive spas we have seen. I would highly recommend the all-inclusive supplement. If not, the restaurants on the property are quite pricy, too.
