A foodie with a passion to jet set, this traveling mom books vacations that are equal parts adventure and relaxation. Whether it's a couples getaway, or kids are in tow, I'd love to help you spark your inner nomad.
Travel Style
I consider life a journey and choose to enrich mine through travel, discovering new cultures, landscapes and cuisines. Meeting new people and learning about different ways of living brings me joy, highlights the vastness of the world and educates me in a way that nothing else can. Never a fan of the routine or the mundane, getting away is my opportunity to embrace a new perspective and savor the adventure that lies ahead. While traveling, I love uncovering boutique properties, hidden gems and neighborhood restaurants, all while getting to know the locals and immersing myself in their culture. I adore traveling with my family and also cherish alone time with my husband. Some days you can find me feasting at a Michelin-starred restaurant; on others, a hole-in-the-wall with amazing food. Whether it's relaxing beach time, a rigorous five-mile hike in the mountains, or a zip line through the jungles of Central America, I try to be creative in my itinerary design, including equal amounts of relaxation and adventure. Recently, I have become certified as a Hawaii Destination Specialist, which is a place which speaks to all of these possibilities. This passionate planner is happy to help you craft your next amazing journey, filled with exciting memories and unforgettable moments.

We just returned from a dream trip to Australia and New Zealand, and we couldn't have done it without Laurie. This was our first adventure planned with her, and she quickly understood who we were, what we were looking for, and honored our budget constraints. From the hotel selections to the must-see adventures and tours, every detail was handled with precision. Laurie took the stress out of the logistics, allowing us to just enjoy the experience. We just returned from 6 nights in Turks and Caicos. Laurie was extremely helpful in planning our vacation! We stayed at the Alexandria Resort, and a lovely bottle of champagne was waiting for us with a sweet note from Laurie. Laurie called the resort multiple times to get answers to questions I had and also make sure our reservation was all set, and even requested an upgraded room for us! I would highly recommend Laurie to help you plan your next adventure!

With children in both high school and college, I would recommend this itinerary primarily for families with older children, as it requires a fair amount of stamina. On this trip, we learned many things about Buddhist culture — meeting monks and touring temples. We quickly developed an appreciation for the artists who have created these stunning structures over the years. We gained a sense of the importance of these spiritual centers and their integral role in Thai culture. Skyscrapers merge with majestic golden temples on the skyline, where sunsets take on an entirely new meaning, and the rivers sparkle as the sun sets. It is magical! The contrast between the bustling cities, the excitement of Muay Thai fights (more on that later), and the peaceful, isolated national parks and busy beaches is striking. This diverse country offers everything for an adventurous, active trip, from rich cultural experiences to mouthwatering food. We experienced everything, from wild animal encounters to glistening shorelines.
