While the resort offers enough activities and amenities to fill several days, I still recommend renting a car to explore the surrounding beaches, hiking trails, and local communities. The North Shore has a much slower pace than Waikiki, with fewer restaurants and shops nearby, which is part of its appeal. During the winter months, visitors can often watch some of the world’s best surfers tackle massive waves at famous surf breaks throughout the region, while summer brings calmer ocean conditions. For travelers looking to combine relaxation, outdoor adventure, and luxury accommodations in one of Hawai’i’s most beautiful settings, Turtle Bay is one of the strongest choices on O’ahu.
