From the moment we arrived at the property, the signature Four Seasons hospitality was on full display. The staff was incredibly warm, helpful, and accommodating, anticipating our needs before we even asked. The lobby immediately sets a sophisticated yet welcoming Pacific Northwest tone, featuring striking local art, warm wood accents, and massive glass windows framing views of Elliott Bay. The location is completely unbeatable; we found ourselves just steps from Pike Place Market and the Seattle Art Museum. Plus, Seattle's newly renovated waterfront is accessible right down the stairs and directly across the street from the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to explore.

The family experience here is where the property truly shines, proving that ultra-luxury and family travel can coexist beautifully. Traveling with my 3-year-old daughter can sometimes be unpredictable, but the staff went above and beyond to make her feel incredibly special. Upon check-in, she was delighted to find her very own miniature robe and slippers, a cuddly stuffed bear, and a sweet children's book about Seattle as a welcome gift. We lucked out with gorgeous spring weather, which made our afternoons at the heated outdoor infinity pool—the only one of its kind in downtown Seattle—absolutely perfect. We swam comfortably in the crisp April air while watching the ferries glide across the water and the Seattle Great Wheel spin in the distance.

Our accommodations featured sweeping views of Elliott Bay, and the room's large, deep soaking bathtub was an absolute dream after active days of city exploration, capped off each night by a flawless evening turndown service. While we stayed in a standard guest room, I also did a site inspection of the property and fell completely in love with the Elliott Bay Corner Suite. The master bathtub in that suite directly faces the glass, offering an unbeatable view of the Olympic Mountains putting on a show as the iconic green-and-white ferries cross the water. For dining, we loved gathering at Goldfinch Tavern, an Ethan Stowell restaurant located right off the lobby, where we feasted on fresh, locally sourced Pacific Northwest cuisine like Dungeness crab cakes and house-made rigatoni.

This property is an exceptional fit for a wide range of travelers. It’s a dream for families who want a seamless, high-end city escape where everyone from toddlers to parents feels thoroughly pampered, but it’s equally brilliant for business travelers seeking a refined, central harbor retreat. Cruisers will also find it to be the ultimate pre- or post-cruise stay; the city's cruise terminals are just a quick drive away. Booking this property through a Fora Advisor unlocks incredible perks, including complimentary daily breakfast, room upgrades when available, and a resort credit to use at the spa or Goldfinch Tavern.

Need to know

If you are cruising out of Seattle, this hotel is a logistical dream. It is located just minutes from both Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal (Pier 66) and Smith Cove Cruise Terminal (Pier 91). You can easily arrange a quick transfer to the cruise port using the hotel's luxury house car service or a brief rideshare, making your embarkation day completely stress-free.

When planning your stay, I highly recommend booking an Elliott Bay View room to enjoy those serene water views. However, if you are celebrating a special occasion, let me secure the Elliott Bay Corner Suite for you so you can experience that legendary bathtub view of the sunset over the Olympic Mountains. Lastly, if you plan to dine at Goldfinch Tavern for weekend brunch or dinner, let me secure your reservations well in advance, as it is a highly popular spot for both hotel guests and locals.
