Because it is a corner suite, the layout makes the most of Lumpini Park and the skyline. The bathroom is especially memorable, with floor-to-ceiling glass and a dramatic corner view over the park. It is the kind of bathroom that becomes part of the experience of the hotel.

Beyond the views, the suite feels extremely well considered. The living area is elegant and comfortable, the minibar is beautifully presented, the textiles feel luxurious, and the amenities are excellent. Small details, such as plush monogrammed slippers, make the experience feel more personal.

The overall feeling is very "wow," but not cold. That balance is important.

The Ritz-Carlton Club is a major reason to consider booking a Club room or suite. This is not just a place to have coffee or answer emails. It feels like a private layer within the hotel: calm, elegant, light-filled, and beautifully serviced.

The culinary presentations throughout the day are generous and well executed, and the late-afternoon offering feels almost like a refined buffet: delicate, complete, and very polished.

Lily's is the hotel's main all-day dining restaurant and one of the highlights of the stay. The space is beautiful, warm, and sophisticated, with open kitchens and a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. It works equally well for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is not always the case with hotel restaurants. The menu combines refined Western dishes with Thai flavors and sharing-style plates. Everything feels polished but approachable.

Breakfast at Lily's is excellent: one of the best I have had in Bangkok. There is both buffet and à la carte service, the quality is high, and the service is outstanding.

The hotel also has Duet by David Toutain, its fine-dining restaurant by the Michelin-starred French chef, set in a glasshouse overlooking Lumpini Park. It adds a serious culinary dimension to the property and makes the hotel feel like more than just a place to sleep.

Caleō, the cocktail bar near the lobby, is another beautiful space. It has the atmosphere of a contemporary social club and is also where afternoon tea is served. Even if guests are not planning a full evening there, it adds a strong sense of arrival and atmosphere to the hotel.

Pool, spa & wellness

Although this is very much an urban hotel, the wellness facilities are strong.

The gym is beautiful, complete, and very pleasant to use. The pool is spectacular and gives the property that sense of urban refuge that many travelers want in Bangkok. The spa is also well designed and adds a quieter, restorative layer to the stay. This is not a resort, but it does give you moments where you can step away from the rhythm of the city.

That is one of the hotel's strengths: it is urban, but not overwhelming. Gastronomic, but also wellness-oriented. Highly visual, but still comfortable.

Service was one of the strongest parts of the stay.
