Luxury Adults-Only All-Inclusive in Jamaica: JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar

We had an amazing stay at JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar, a short 20 minute away from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I would absolutely recommend it for a relaxing, adults-only getaway.

The resort itself is beautiful! The grounds are immaculately maintained with spacious rooms, gorgeous ocean views, and easy access to both the beach and pools. The beach area was clean and peaceful, and we never had trouble finding chairs or a quiet spot to relax.

What really stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience. From dining to poolside service, everything felt thoughtful and elevated.

Food and drinks were another highlight. There was a wide variety of options, and most meals were consistently delicious, with great cocktails to match. The all-inclusive experience felt high quality overall.

One of the best perks of staying at JOIA is that guests have full access to the two neighboring Iberostar properties (Selection Rose Hall Suites and Waves Rose Hall Beach), which gives you even more dining, pools, and activities to choose from. But most importantly, it’s one-way access. Guests from those resorts cannot come onto the JOIA property, so you will always have a private, elevated adults-only atmosphere.

Direct ocean views

There are plenty of amenities and activities for those still wishing to stay active on vacation. The property includes tennis and pickleball courts, well-equipped gyms, and the spa, as well as daily workout classes (think paddleboard yoga in the pool!). There are daily beach and pool games, but due to the layout of the outdoor space, the vibe still remains calm and upscale. Lastly, several tour operators are conveniently located on the property, making it easy to book excursions and explore more of the island without much planning.

This property is perfect for couples, girls trips, or even group trips; I truly saw every form of patrons!

It will be important to note that the hotel will be closed from June 2026 to November 2026 for renovations and so that major repairs from the recent hurricane can be addressed.

Overall, a fantastic adults-only resort with great service, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxing atmosphere. I was especially moved by the resilience and kindness of the Jamaican people following the recent hurricane. The warmth and positivity of the staff and locals made the experience even more meaningful. I will definitely return. YAH MAN!
