Although the hotel is newer, the interiors feel timeless. Every room has its own personality and artistic character, with an incredible appreciation for design and fine art woven throughout the property. The balance between historic architecture and contemporary creativity gives the hotel a distinctly modern French luxury identity.

One of the things that stood out most during my visit was the exceptional leadership and vision from the hotel team itself. The head of the hotel and concierge leadership created an experience that felt polished yet deeply welcoming at the same time. Every interaction felt intentional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about showcasing both the property and Montpellier as a destination.

Dining here felt theatrical in the best possible way—artistic, immersive, and beautifully executed from beginning to end. One of the true highlights of the property is the bar space itself. The art and architecture are breathtaking, especially the ceiling installation, which immediately becomes a conversation piece and gives the hotel such a distinct identity. The hotel feels almost like a living gallery, where hospitality, design, and gastronomy all blend together seamlessly.

The hotel is spread across two separate villa-style buildings with multiple terraces where dining takes place beneath the Provençal light and gardens. Every corner of the property feels intimate and cinematic, from the garden pathways to the softly decorated interiors filled with antique details and warm textures.

One of the things I loved most about Villa Gallici was how peaceful the property felt while still being within walking distance of the center of Aix-en-Provence. It created the perfect balance between relaxation and accessibility, allowing guests to enjoy the energy of Aix during the day before returning to a much quieter and more romantic setting in the evening.
