In September of 2023, we stayed at The Caribou Lodge and Spa. This lovely lodge has amazing rustic decor at the entrance and a contemporary look in their lobby & rooms that have a cozy and inviting atmosphere. They have a great, accommodating staff that will help your stay be a seamless comfort, as was ours.

The Lodge is located 10-15 minutes from Downtown Banff. For people with mobility issues, you can get daily free bus vouchers that have frequent stops. Free parking is available for those with cars, and for the adventurous ones, you could take a beautiful walk downtown (depending on the season).
Let's talk about the Spa, which has a very relaxing hot tub and sauna after a day of hiking, walking or exploring Banff. Across from the hot tub is the Red Earth Spa, Banff's only full-service Spa on Banff Avenue. It gets better. You can enjoy a side-by-side Dream Cloud Massage enhanced with their signature Floral Dream Cloud Bath and Body Oil.You will enjoy a 45-minute custom massage followed by a 30-minute foot and scalp massage OMG!!! AND a gift on top of it, a bottle of Dream Cloud Oil. All this for $195 CA.
The Keg Restaurant is located inside Caribou Lodge with a full-service bar at the front. It has a specialty menu as well as ala-carte with a great wine selection. We chose the lamb shank that was cooked to perfection with a side of baked potato with chives, bacon, sour cream, and butter paired with Shiraz. Simply mouth-watering. The service was excellent and the atmosphere wss very relaxing.
Need to Know
This is a perfect place to relax or explore the town and on the same note to plan your sightseeing events and destinations. It's perfect for singles or couples and everyone in between looking for new experiences.
