Sailing aboard the Disney Treasure was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, relaxation and world-class Disney service. This incredible itinerary took us to Cozumel, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Disney’s Castaway Cay. Offering a mix of cultural exploration, stunning beaches and exclusive Disney magic. Whether you're a first-time cruiser or a Disney Cruise Line veteran, this ship truly has something for everyone!

You can find the times characters will be out in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

One of the highlights of our journey was Grand Cayman, where it was incredibly easy to hop in a taxi and head straight to Seven Mile Beach. We asked to be dropped off at The Westin, which provided a great spot to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and soft white sand. After relaxing on the beach, we had a delicious outdoor lunch before heading back to the ship.

Disney’s Castaway Cay was another standout destination — since it’s Disney’s private island, everything is designed for seamless relaxation. It’s just a five-minute walk from the ship to the beach, where you can easily find the perfect spot to lounge. Lunch is included, and I highly recommend taking advantage of the incredible snorkeling opportunities right off the shore!

Fun on Castaway Cay

On board the Disney Treasure, there’s no shortage of excitement. One must-try attraction is the AquaMouse, Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever attraction at sea! This exhilarating water coaster takes riders on a whimsical, animated adventure. It is made complete with special effects and fun surprises as you zoom through twists and turns high above the deck. It’s a must for both kids and adults!

And speaking of must-try experiences, the food on board was phenomenal. I highly recommend grabbing tacos on the pool deck for a quick and delicious meal. For a more elevated dining experience, be sure to book a reservation at Enchante. This is the ship’s premier adults-only restaurant inspired by Beauty and the Beast. This upscale dining experience offers French-inspired cuisine with stunning ocean views. You can expect impeccable service, and an elegant atmosphere — perfect for a romantic evening or a special celebration.

Entertainment at Plaza de Coco

Everyone should experience a Disney Cruise at least once. From the exceptional service and immersive storytelling to the top-tier dining, entertainment and activities for all ages, Disney Cruise Line creates an effortless and magical vacation. Whether you're traveling with young children, as a couple or even solo, the Disney Treasure offers something truly special — where every moment onboard feels like part of the adventure.

Meeting Belle from Beauty & the Beast - the characters spend so much time with the kids

Sunset from the Verandah - I highly recommend getting a Verandah

Disney treasure & destination tips:

  • Book popular experiences early: Dining at Enchante, spa treatments and certain onboard activities fill up quickly. Be sure to make reservations as soon as your booking window opens!

  • AquaMouse pro tip: Lines for this onboard water coaster can get long, especially on sea days. Try riding early in the morning or later in the evening for a shorter wait.

  • Relaxing at Castaway Cay: If you want a prime beach spot, disembark early to claim your chairs. The island has plenty of loungers, but shaded spots go fast! Snorkeling gear is available to rent, or bring your own to explore the underwater surprises Disney has hidden beneath the waves.

  • Grand Cayman transportation: Taxis are readily available and safe, making it easy to get to Seven Mile Beach. If you’re heading to a specific resort like The Westin, just let your driver know!

  • Dining tips: While Rotational Dining ensures you get to experience each themed restaurant, you can also request to revisit a favorite. Don’t miss the tacos on the pool deck for a quick, delicious bite!

  • Packing must-haves: Bring reef-safe sunscreen for beach days, a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated onboard and a light sweater — some indoor areas on the ship can get chilly.

  • Disney Cruise Line App: The DCL Navigator App is your best friend onboard! It keeps you updated on daily activities, dining times and more.

  • Gratuities: While tips for dining and stateroom staff are automatically added, it’s always nice to have small bills on hand for additional tipping. Especially for room service or porters at embarkation and debarkation.
