Nestled in the historic 13th-century Ca’ da Mosto on the Grand Canal, Venice Venice Hotel is an ultra-chic five-star destination that perfectly encapsulates modern luxury. Founded by Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo, the creative minds behind the Golden Goose brand, the hotel is a seamless fusion of avant-garde art and 20th-century design, appealing to a youthful, luxury-seeking crowd.

During my stay in Room 34, I was immersed in a unique artistic experience, with each room showcasing pieces from the owners' private collection. Walking through the hotel, you can't miss Fabio Viale's striking "Pietà Senza Cristo" at the entrance, setting the tone for the bold, contemporary style that defines the space. The integration of historic architecture with Fluxus and Arte Povera art creates a hipster luxury vibe that's both captivating and inviting.

The hotel offers a rich array of amenities, including the Venice M'Art concept store, where guests can explore unique products infused with their signature scent, Erose. The vibrant Bitter Club provides an eclectic music scene with DJs spinning an array of tunes, from disco to Italian classics. Meanwhile, the Altana rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the Rialto Bridge, making it a perfect spot for enjoying aperitivos.

Dining at Venice Venice is a culinary adventure, with beautiful à la carte breakfast and innovative cuisine that highlights a modern approach. Frequently cited as one of the city's most stylish hotels, Venice Venice exudes silent luxury, making it a favored retreat for celebrities, artists, and high-profile guests seeking privacy and exclusivity.

Need to know

The Venice Venice Hotel has 43 uniquely designed rooms, each offering a distinct experience. Some rooms are dim and atmospheric, while others are filled with light and boast stunning canal views. I recommend Room 34 for its spaciousness and lovely views. Solo travelers might enjoy Room 6 or 25, a New York-style loft featuring photography by Renato D’Agostin. For couples, Room 72 offers a romantic escape with a private terrace overlooking the Grand Canal, while the Dream Different suite (01) includes a private heated pool and Room 2, the portraits apartment, features twin bathtubs and a private Turkish bath.

Venice Venice Hotel offers a unique blend of historical charm and contemporary elegance, making it a must-visit for those looking to experience Venice's modern luxury.
