Romantic Antigua: A Honeymoon Guide
Curator’s statement

In January 2025, my wife and I got married in Pennsylvania. A warm honeymoon destination is exactly what we needed after a cold and snowy wedding week. We had heard amazing things about Antigua, and it did not disappoint. From the extremely quick airport experience, to the beautiful sunsets and brand new resort, we were very thankful to visit. Honeymooning in Antigua was the cherry on top to our brand new marriage. It will be somewhere we revisit down the line to bring back some amazing memories.

Welcome to paradise: Royalton Chic Antigua

The Royalton Chic Antigua is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on the stunning shores of Dickenson Bay. This brand-new resort offers luxurious accommodations, gourmet dining and vibrant entertainment, making it perfect for a honeymoon escape.

Our Honeymoon Experience

Our time in Antigua was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation and romance. We rode jet skis along the turquoise waters, swam with gentle stingrays and enjoyed a breathtaking lunch on a secluded beach. It was only accessible by water or off-road vehicles.

Between beach and poolside lounging, we indulged in fresh sushi at Pescari, Italian at Vespa and premium steaks at Hunter Steakhouse. Each night brought something new, from a steel band performance and silent disco to a fire show and retro-themed entertainment. We even tested our trivia skills and danced under neon lights!

Wellness was also a highlight, with Pilates, a hydrotherapy session and a salsa class adding a touch of rejuvenation and fun. To top it all off, we wrapped up with a lively foam party at the resort.

Need to know
