Alternatively, the Ibérico pluma (a prime cut of Spanish pork) is a solid entree option. Their seafood selections are also divine and not to be ignored. Ask your server to assist in pairing from their impressive wine selection. Make reservations in the evening hours to take advantage of the Magic Kingdom fireworks views from their terrace balcony.

Bull & Bear

Located inside the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, this elevated steakhouse is famous for its tableside preparations and top-tier service. It offers an elaborate menu of steaks, elevated fare, and decadent desserts. Menu highlights include the Tuxedo No. 2 cocktail (Grey Goose, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur), the Pasta Explosion appetizer, and the pan-seared sea bass. Don’t skip the Caesar salad or their signature dessert, “The Lemon.”

California Grill

Located on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, California Grill offers high-end dining with sweeping views of the Magic Kingdom and Seven Seas Lagoon. It features a three-course, prix-fixe dinner menu, and its observation decks provide a prime viewing experience for the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Secure reservations early; it’s designed as a celebratory meal experience, and seats fill quickly, especially in the evening for the fireworks viewing. Solo travelers or duos can always check for bar availability in a pinch. Pro tip: You are more likely to find last-minute availability in the early evening, and you are able to return for the fireworks the same evening by showing your receipt.

Narcoossee’s

This top seafood spot on Walt Disney World property, offering waterfront views and expertly crafted cocktails, is not to be overlooked when seeking intimate, celebratory dining experiences. The salted mascarpone espresso martini is highly popular amongst regulars. If dining during the Magic Kingdom fireworks, the lights dim and music is piped directly into the restaurant, creating an unforgettable evening.

Space 220

Located at EPCOT within Walt Disney World Resort, this is a highly immersive, space-themed restaurant. The main dining floor transports diners aboard the Centauri Space Station 220 miles above Earth, featuring digital “windows” that show live-action views of outer space, astronauts, and planet Earth below. The Space 220 Lounge is situated in the same dining area yet features an à la carte menu with limited options, as opposed to the full prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus.

Tiffin’s Restaurant

This signature dining location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a travel-inspired menu with African, Asian, and Latin American cuisines. Dine through the lens of artists and explorers—the walls are dedicated to the field research and field sketches of the park’s creators. Bread service is a must. (Guava ginger jam has my soul.) They also offer a unique wine list, and you can’t go wrong with the whole-fried catch of the day. The Regional Curry Tasting is one of the top plant-based menu options on all Walt Disney World property. Keep an eye on reservation times; the Animal Kingdom theme park closes between 6 and 7 p.m. daily.

Sear + Sea Woodfire Grill

This Michelin-recommended steak and seafood restaurant is located inside the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa. They offer top-tier prime cuts of dry-aged beef, open-flame cooking, and an impressive glass-enclosed wine cellar with over 1,200 bottles. Steaks are all a highlight, but don’t overlook the grilled branzino and local fish entrees. Ask for wine pairing recommendations, as the staff are beyond knowledgeable about the depth and flavor of their collection.

Victoria & Albert’s

Inside the Grand Floridian, this restaurant has earned a Michelin star, a AAA Five Diamond Award, and the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award. Presented as classic Victorian elegance with modern American cuisine, Victoria & Albert’s is truly an incomparable, multi-hour fine dining experience. Dress code is enforced: Semi-formal to formal. Elegant attire is the expectation, such as a collared long-sleeve shirt for men (I recommend a dinner jacket) and elegant evening wear or dresses for women. Prepare for a three-plus-hour meal; this is a guided dining experience to savor every bite and moment.

Jiko

Located on the lower level of Jambo House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, this signature fine-dining restaurant features a distinctive fusion of traditional African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine. The Braai'd wild boar tenderloin appetizer is the most unique cut of meat on Walt Disney World property and lives up to its popularity among those returning year after year. Take in the restaurant with evening tea service after your meal—it’s an absolute highlight to wrap up this culinary expedition.
