Trip Report: Grace Bay Club—My Pick for the Best All-Around Stay in Turks & Caicos
Curator’s statement

Grace Bay Club is my top recommendation in Turks and Caicos, especially for families or groups traveling with children. The resort delivers a polished, beachfront luxury experience with strong dining and a calm, understated atmosphere. It is not ideal for nightlife or high-energy entertainment, but it is an excellent fit for travelers seeking relaxed, high-quality beach time with great food and service. Having experienced several resorts in Turks and Caicos, when my clients—families or couples—request a recommendation, I will steer them here.

Grace Bay Club stands out as one of the most refined, thoughtfully designed beachfront resorts in Providenciales, and after a site visit and short spring stay, it is clear this property has been continuously elevated in a way many neighboring resorts have not. The arrival experience is smooth and personal—guests are seated for check-in with a welcome drink, luggage is handled seamlessly, and WhatsApp-based concierge service makes communication highly responsive throughout the stay. The concierge team dedicates two staff members to each guest, ensuring 24/7 coverage—an impressive touch.

The overall layout is a “resort within a resort,” with The Hotel (adults-only), The Estate (luxury adults-only enclave), and The Villas (family-focused residences), which creates a very clear separation of travel styles.

The Hotel, a first look

The accommodations in all of the buildings were recently refreshed with a clean, modern residential aesthetic. Rooms are generously sized, with thoughtful touches like Nespresso machines, full kitchenware, and curated welcome amenities including espresso martini kits and music selections that add personality. There is strong air conditioning and fans, easy indoor-outdoor flow, and unobstructed ocean, pool, or garden view options depending on category. Overall, the hard and soft product feels more contemporary and better maintained than many competing resorts in the area.

I was fortunate enough to stay at The Hotel which is very quiet and perfect for couples seeking privacy as it is for 16+ adults-only. This was the original Grace Bay Club property before it was expanded to include The Estate and the Villas. The Hotel is the only building without an elevator, so if that is a necessity, I recommend staying in the other buildings. All of the buildings are oceanfront with walkways out to the perfect powdery white sand—the beach and ocean are very clean and not crowded or dirty at all.

There are four buildings that make up the family-friendly Villas, and these are the newest buildings. The layout of the rooms is incredibly generous, especially for families or groups who desire spacious rooms along with generous communal areas. The Villas overlook the family pool, which has a poolside bar and drinks area as well as poolside billiards—which you don’t see every day. The Villas are calm and beautiful, definitely not overrun with kids at all, and the pool environment is similarly peaceful—kids can run around and splash—but it is not noisy or high energy.

The Villas - Bedroom

Family-friendly Pool at The Villas

The Estate is a more elevated, exclusive “resort within a resort” with two taller buildings. Guests of the Estate can use amenities at the Villas and the Hotel, but the Estate’s facilities such as the Estate Pool and Krave Restaurant are only open to Estate guests. Although cabanas and daybeds are available for all guests at every pool, the Estate Pool offers premium poolside cabanas for $800 per day, which include daybeds, some drink inclusions, and a semi-private rain shower.

The Estate is perfect for multigenerational families or larger groups who wish to entertain and enjoy privacy within their hotel. Grace Bay Club works with nanny services or private chefs who can cater a meal or party. Rooms here are luxurious but not too precious; the layouts are more generous here than the Villas or Hotel and are ideal if you desire resort amenities but prefer a more exclusive experience.

The Estates - Living Room

Throughout the resort, there are thoughtful water bottle refill stations, and poolside sunscreen and aloe vera, along with hand sanitizer. The chairs and cabanas have towels already set out—one less thing to worry about, with quiet infinity pools, well-spaced loungers, and attentive beach service. The beach itself is exceptional—flat, soft, and easy to enter the water within minutes of leaving your room—making it one of the strongest beachfront access points in Grace Bay for true “walk-out-to-ocean” convenience.

Grace Bay Club offers one of the more complete and elevated dining programs in Turks and Caicos, with multiple oceanfront venues operating across the day. The Grill serves breakfast daily from 7–10:30 a.m., lunch from 12–3 p.m., and dinner seasonally in the evenings, making it the most flexible all-day option and the primary family-friendly restaurant on property. Casual options like afternoon tea at The Grill add another layer of inclusivity, and there is flexibility for private dining through services such as Crave TCI, including in-room chef experiences or pre-arrival grocery provisioning.

Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar is the signature fine dining venue and operates nightly for dinner only, typically around 6–9:30 p.m., with a more elevated, reservation-driven experience focused on seafood, sushi, and modern Caribbean cuisine. The property also offers additional concepts, including Krave at The Estate for relaxed poolside dining, Infiniti Bar and Sushi Bar for cocktails and lighter bites, and rotating beachside pop-ups like Off Shore, giving guests multiple interchangeable settings depending on mood and time of day. Overall, dining is structured around a mix of casual daytime accessibility and more polished evening service, with a strong emphasis on oceanfront settings rather than a single centralized restaurant hub.

Adults-only Infinity Pool - Between the Hotel Building and Villa Suites

From a positioning standpoint, Grace Bay Club is one of the strongest luxury choices in Turks and Caicos for both couples and families, depending on which section you book. The Villas in particular are highly compelling for families seeking space, service, and beachfront access without sacrificing design quality or modern infrastructure, while still offering separation from the quieter Estate and Hotel zones. Compared to other nearby resorts, it feels newer, more intentionally segmented, and more service-driven, making it a strong recommendation for clients who want Grace Bay beachfront access with a higher level of consistency, flexibility, and overall polish.

Grace Bay Club’s Kids Town is a small, well-run program best suited for elementary through early middle school-aged children, offering structured daytime activities like crafts, beach time, and light games in a contained clubhouse setting. It runs daily (typically 9 a.m.–4 p.m.) and, while not a large-scale resort “camp,” it feels safe, attentive, and easy to use for shorter stays; I would absolutely feel comfortable sending a child there and allowing them to move between the kids club and the wider property, as the resort is compact, secure, and staff are consistently present and engaged.

In addition to Kids Town, there is a separate game room/lounge space open into the evening (around 9 p.m.) with PlayStation, air hockey, and a movie setup, which works well for older kids and tweens winding down after dinner. The overall childcare offering is not expansive, but the combination of supervised programming, safe layout, and attentive staffing makes it a very workable and low-stress option for families.

Need to know

While there are other resort options in Turks and Caicos, Grace Bay Club offers a better overall value for savvy travelers who want to relax beachfront, have everyone be entertained, and not compromise on quality and amazing food.

Grace Bay Club offers a well-rounded dining lineup, with dinner at Infiniti (6–9:30 p.m.), included breakfast at The Grill (7–10:30 a.m.), beachfront lunch at Off Shore (10 a.m.–6 p.m.), and casual poolside bites at Krave (12–3 p.m.). Guests can also access additional restaurants at sister properties with help from the concierge.

Days are easy to fill with complimentary non-motorized water sports like kayaks, paddleboards, and Hobie Cats, along with optional excursions including scuba diving, fishing, and private boat charters. On land, there’s a full fitness center, a L’Occitane spa, and scheduled yoga (Mon/Wed/Fri at 8:30 a.m.; advance sign-up required), plus tennis, pickleball, bikes, and games, with lessons available. The concierge can also arrange more customized experiences, from private tours to jet ski outings and catamaran excursions.
