Where to stay

I recently had the pleasure of touring the beautiful Celebrity Silhouette, and I’m happy to report that she’s every bit as stylish and inviting as the other ships in the Solstice fleet. I am a fan of the Celebrity Cruise line and have sailed on the Equinox and Solstice in the past, so I was excited to tour the Silhouette after its renovation in 2019. It did not disappoint, as the Silhouette blends modern elegance with thoughtful touches that make every space feel special.

Accommodations & stateroom highlights

The verandas are spacious at about 200 square feet, perfect for enjoying ocean views and fresh air. The ship offers both the Retreat Class for an elevated luxury experience, equipped with its own lounge deck, and the Aqua Class for those who want spa-inspired touches and wellness-inspired cuisine.

Public spaces & amenities

Deck 10 houses a cozy Library, while the Sky Lounge offers an airy space with bars, a DJ, and plenty of seating by panoramic windows—ideal for private group gatherings. The Solarium is a tranquil retreat with family hours, making it kid-friendly without losing its relaxing vibe.

The Lawn Club on the top deck is a standout, featuring real grass, cabanas, the Sunset Bar, a large screen, and specialty restaurants like The Porch. While the glass-blowing demonstrations will be phased out soon, there’s still a wonderful mix of activities here.

For wellness-focused guests, the Spa Café is a hidden gem, offering fresh small plates and delicious açaí bowls. Families will appreciate Camp at Sea, and foodies can enjoy the Oceanview Café buffet or try QSine, a whimsical, immersive dining event with virtual elements (max six per table, 78 guests total).

Entertainment & nightlife

The two-level theater hosts high-quality production shows and guest entertainers with no reservations required—just pick your early or late showtime. Celebrity Central offers comedians and trivia, while Quasar is the onboard nightclub (closing at midnight). For sports fans, the Craft Master sports bar is a great hangout, and the Martini Bar impresses with its signature ice countertop to keep your favorite cocktails cool.

Group travel perks

For groups, the Meeting Place can be reserved at no cost when booking as a group, and the Sky Lounge can also be used for private functions when available.

Itineraries & fleet notes

The Silhouette has Florida, Caribbean, and Europe itineraries to places like Key West, Bermuda, Iceland, and Bimini from Cape Liberty.

Final impressions

The Celebrity Silhouette strikes a perfect balance of modern luxury, diverse dining, inviting social spaces, and entertainment options for every type of traveler. Whether it’s a wellness retreat, a lively group getaway, or a family vacation with a touch of elegance, she delivers an experience that feels effortlessly indulgent.

Need to know

On the Horizon: Celebrity will also debut the XCEL in November, promising seven new experiences (highly recommend taking the training for this one!). Looking further ahead, Celebrity will offer river cruises starting in July 2026, and the Solstice Class ships will see updates in January 2026. For clients who love the latest innovations, note that Celebrity’s EDGE Class ships have “infinite verandas,” where the balcony is enclosed in the stateroom and opens with the push of a button—a feature worth considering for future sailings.
