Curator’s statement
If you love Four Seasons, this one feels extra special. It’s that perfect mix of mountain adventure and effortless luxury where everything is just taken care of for you. You can spend the day skiing or exploring, then come back to a cozy, fireside atmosphere that feels warm and inviting without losing that elevated feel. I love how it blends the energy of Vail Village with the calm of the resort. It really gives you both. It’s one of those places that feels familiar in the best way, but still stands out enough that you’ll be thinking about it long after you leave.

I stopped into the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail while I was there last to tour it, and this is one I always love recommending. I’m also a preferred partner with Four Seasons, which means when you book through me you’ll receive added perks like daily breakfast, a resort credit, priority for upgrades if available, and early check in and late check-out when possible. It’s one of those little things that really elevates the whole stay.

Time for marshmallows with a cocktail
The location is such a big part of it. You’re right in Vail Village, so everything is walkable, shops, restaurants, and all that energy right outside your door. Getting to the mountain is just as easy. They take your skis, get everything set up, and have you right on the slopes without you having to think about it. It just makes the whole day flow.

The hotel itself has that understated luxury feel, very polished but still warm and comfortable. Vail is one of those iconic mountain destinations for a reason, and being here surrounded by the Rocky Mountains with all that sunshine, you really feel it. After a day outside, coming back here feels like such a retreat.

This three bedroom Champagne Glade residence felt like the ultimate mountain retreat
The room options here are a huge highlight, especially for families or groups. You have beautifully designed guest rooms with fireplaces and mountain views, spacious suites with separate living areas, and then the residences, which really stand out. I toured the Champagne Glade three-bedroom residence and it was incredible. It’s located on the top floor with vaulted ceilings, a huge patio with a private hot tub, and views overlooking Vail Mountain and Lionshead Village. Inside, there’s a full designer kitchen that opens into the living and dining space, with so much natural light coming in. It’s one of those spaces that feels both luxurious and really comfortable at the same time. They also offer one, two, three, and even four-bedroom residences, so it’s perfect for families or even two families traveling together.

The food here is also really good. At Flame, it’s more of your classic steakhouse feel but elevated. Must order a great steak, share a few sides, and a glass of wine. The Remedy Bar is where you go for après or a more casual night, and this is where you get their hot chocolate or a cocktail and just sit and take it all in. This is the kind of place you say one drink… and then suddenly it’s been a while. Dessert here is such a moment, something rich to share.

Champagne Glade Residence
Coming back after skiing, handing off your boots, and walking straight into the lobby with a drink in hand just feels easy in the best way. They really take care of everything here before you even think to ask.
Outside, the heated pool and hot tubs with mountain views are a highlight. It’s one of those spots you end up staying in longer than you planned, especially after a day on the mountain.

The spa is also next level. They have an incredible après-ski massage with deep tissue work, warm stones, and arnica balm that feels amazing after skiing. And the Haute Chocolate spa experience is such a fun and unique treatment, a full-body ritual with cacao and oils that ends fireside with hot chocolate.
They also offer so many experiences that make the trip feel really special. In the winter, they can set up snow tubing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, and help with ski rentals and boot fittings. In the summer, it shifts to fly fishing, ATV adventures, rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, zip-lining, and even paragliding.
One of the most fun experiences is their private Italian culinary experience where you learn to make pasta with their chefs and then sit down for a full meal together. They also offer other cooking classes and even personal styling appointments if you want to do a little shopping in town.
The gym is also really well done with Peloton bikes, strength equipment, and classes like yoga.

And one of the best parts is stepping right outside and being in the middle of everything. You’re just around the corner from all the shops in Vail Village, so it’s perfect for wandering, popping in and out, and just enjoying the whole atmosphere.
This is a destination I would recommend for couples, girls trips, and especially families who want that mix of outdoor adventure and a really comfortable, elevated place to come back to. I love recommending this one because I know exactly which rooms and locations to request, and it’s one of those places you book once… and then start looking at dates to come back to before you’ve even left.

Need to know
This is one of those places where a little planning makes everything feel easy, no matter the season. In the winter, I always recommend booking restaurants and ski rentals ahead and using a ski valet so your days flow seamlessly.
In the summer, it’s more about planning activities like hiking, rafting, or biking in advance so you don’t miss out. Make time to enjoy the village and not just rush through activities, and always pack layers since the weather can change throughout the day.
