Curator’s statement
What makes Hôtel Adèle & Jules special to me is that it’s authentic—it’s not trying to be overly chic or something it’s not. It gives you comfort, safety, and an amazing location in the 9th arrondissement that is near all the action. It has a perfect balance of quiet when you need it and city energy right outside your door. This is how I like to travel—easy, convenient, and in the middle of it all. It’s the kind of place I’d come back to and feel good recommending to the right client every single time.

I visited Hôtel Adèle & Jules while I was in Paris on a girls trip—yes, we were enjoying ourselves—but I also carved out time for site visits because… priorities.
Location
This property is in the 9th arrondissement and sits down a quiet alley that runs perpendicular to Boulevard Montmartre. While the hotel itself is quiet, once you walk up the alley and get to the main street, you are immediately thrust into a bustling, energetic stretch filled with cafés, shops, metro access, and street vendors. There are people everywhere. So this is not for someone who feels overwhelmed by crowds or heavy foot traffic.
I would recommend this for someone who is urban savvy—someone comfortable navigating busy streets and who appreciates being in the middle of real city life.
It is also important to set expectations on location. This hotel is not close to the Eiffel Tower or the Champs-Élysées. It’s about a 35-minute walk to either. You’ll absolutely be using the metro or rideshare if those are daily priorities. The upside? You will never struggle to find food, coffee, a pharmacy, or quick shopping. It’s incredibly convenient.

Accommodation
The rooms feel cozy, quaint, and homey.
Think quilt-like bedspreads, nail-studded headboards, pink and green curtains. It feels warm and approachable—not elegant or design-forward. If you’re expecting refined Parisian chic, this isn’t that. It feels comfortable and lived-in. The bathrooms are clean and modern with lots of patterned black and white tile, but they are not overly spacious. Efficient is the word I’d use.

Classic Room, the smallest in the category

A few observational notes: the hotel has two buildings, and oddly, another hotel sits between them. It’s manageable, but it’s a little unusual. The reception area is small, as is the lounge area, and in my opinion, the décor there doesn’t quite match the personality of the guest rooms. But they have an adorable oversized old fashioned bell at the check in desk.

Deluxe Room, quaint and perfect for a solo traveler. Some have a balcony.
Here’s how I’d summarize this review
Pros: It’s affordable. It feels safe. It’s near tons of restaurants and shops. Metro access is excellent and the hotel has affordable rates and various room sizes.
Cons: The two-building layout with another hotel in between is a little strange. The common areas are small. The décor lacks cohesive Parisian charm. It’s not near major landmarks like the Eiffel Tower or Champs-Élysées.

Their gym: ample with lots of standard equipment
My advisor take?
Adèle & Jules is a solid pick for the right traveler. If you want value, safety, and convenience in a lively neighborhood, it works. If you’re looking for dreamy Parisian charm and a romantic aesthetic, there are other properties that deliver more of that classic feel. With that said, I would personally stay here. It feels like an elevated bed and breakfast; the rooms are cozy and akin to a place you’d visit time and time again when in Paris.

Lounge area, which also includes a bar. This is where breakfast is located.

Standard bathroom with their classic black and white tile/palette.
Need to know
Stay in a Superior or Club room. Both have the ability to split the king bed into twins if you want to share a room with someone. Some of the Club rooms have a terrace, which is quite quaint on a warm-weather day.
