This brand-new, five-star boutique hotel features 99 art-filled guest rooms and suites, many boasting private, greenery-filled terraces with breathtaking views of the Eternal City. Each accommodation is a living, breathing masterpiece adorned with exquisite works by lauded Roman artist Pietro Ruffo, whose creations draw inspiration from Rome's layered history, celestial maps, and natural landscapes. Ruffo, who has collaborated with esteemed institutions such as the Vatican Library, Dior, and Valentino, serves as the hotel's Signature Artist. He has transformed every corner into an immersive, head-turning art experience—from the vibrant lobby and the elevator walls to the carpeted constellations leading guests to their accommodations, and even the bathroom's glass shower enclosures. I was especially obsessed with the room’s decorative, kaleidoscopically colorful pillows—so much so, I was tempted to stuff them into my carry-on.

All bright and airy accommodations also come equipped with modern comforts, including Marshall Bluetooth speakers and eco-conscious Kevin.Murphy toiletries. The hotel also features a state-of-the-art fitness center and a luxurious sauna—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the ever-vibrant city. Plus, it's home to an art gallery featuring rotating exhibitions and a permanent collection by Ruffo.

Culinary delights await at YEZI Restaurant & Bar, the hotel's beyond-hip, moodily lit dining venue inspired by traditional Asian teahouses. Menu highlights include experimental dim sum, fresh sashimi, and artfully crafted cocktails. The dining experience is further elevated by Ruffo's artistic touch, including a striking, sprawling tile wall mapping Rome's constellations on the picturesque terrace. Be sure to take advantage of sunny days, especially during Aperitivo hour, and savor the feel-fabulous vibes and endless slices of la dolce vita.

Need to know

This is a straight up perfect hotel. Some tips to make your stay even more unforgettable:

1. Set your alarm so you don't miss out on their seriously delicious breakfast.

2. Speaking of delicious dining, dinner at YEZI is a must. Grab a seat on their gorgeous terrace on warm evenings. Order a bit of everything. I especially loved the wasabi-smothered prawns.

3. In the mood for Italian food but in a homey, laid-back setting? Fiaschetteria Marini is around the corner, and its been welcoming guests since 1913.

4. Explore the Eternal City like a local (on a 1940s vintage Vespa, of course!) and book a Vespa Sidecar Tour! The guides are super friendly, and the spectacular photo opportunities are endless.

5. My favorite Italian meal during my trip was a delicious carbonara, amatriciana, and tiramisu combo... and I made them all myself! Sort of. In other words, I took In Rome Cooking's group cooking class. I highly recommend it! Tip: come hungry!
