Overall experience
The sprawling complex reaches from the beachfront to the harbor, filled with various lodging buildings (each with their own style), swanky restaurants, family-friendly activities, scenic views, and water sports.
Access to the resort is only permitted to overnight guests and members of the club. No other visitors are allowed, even to the spa or dinner, for example, which gives a very exclusive and elevated experience.
This is a very family-friendly resort with so many features designed for kids. My son loved the pirate ship slide and splash pad area, perfect for toddlers and young kids. Older kids will enjoy the lazy river or the FlowRider.
Couples can enjoy the resort as well, and there are several adults-only areas to escape. Plus, the evening dining and bar options offer several great date night opportunities.

Location
Located in Boca Raton, Florida, this resort is easily accessible via the West Palm Beach airport, or the Fort Lauderdale airport. I much prefer flying into West Palm Beach because it’s a smaller airport and easier to navigate, but it’s nice that both airports are close to give optionality in your flights.
In terms of the layout of the resort, part of the resort is located oceanfront, right on the sandy beach. The rest of the resort is harborside, just a 5-minute boat ride from the beach.
Once there, you are also a short ride from the downtown of Boca Raton, where there’s a vibrant area with additional restaurants and shops if you want to dine off-property. We ate one evening in Mizner Park, and the rest of our stay eating at the various restaurants on site.

Beach Club
Features and amenities
At the beach, guests can enjoy complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, plus waiter service for food and beverages. There are multiple pools across the resort, with some designated for adults-only, and others filled with kid-friendly water activities.
If you’re looking to rest and reset, enjoy the Spa Palmera. The design is inspired by the Alhambra, bringing in grand arches and beautiful mosaics. There are 44 treatment rooms, lush courtyard, private spa pool, and whirlpools.
Fitness facilities range from a full-service fitness center, racquet sports, water sports, fitness classes, and more.

Dining
We ate each morning at Sadelle’s (using our complimentary breakfast via Virtuoso perks!) and enjoyed tasting different menu items each day. They offer the same menu all day, so if you’re in the mood for something heartier than standard breakfast fare, there’s a range of options to choose from.
In the evening, we enjoyed dinner at the Japanese Bocce Club, and one of our favorite meals was at the Italian Principessa Ristorante overlooking the harbor. And a highlight was finishing the night with top-notch cocktails at the Palm Court.
That is just scratching the surface of the multitude of dining options across the resort. There are several options to choose from, ranging from casual bites to elegant meals.
Rooms and buildings
There are five buildings across the property, each with their own style, room setup, and amenities.
The Cloister retains the most history, charm, and character. If you appreciate unique design elements, this would be a great fit. The resort will be renovating the rooms in the summer of 2026 to freshen it up, but they will still be keeping its core character. It is also the most cost-effective building on property, so it can book up quickly. It’s located harborside, with several dining options in this building.
The Tower is beautifully renovated and offers panoramic views of the beach, harbor, and Boca Raton. If you appreciate sleek and modern décor, you would feel at home in the Tower. It also has 1- and 2-bedroom suites with full kitchens and living rooms, so this building is great for families or larger groups. Many guests also enjoy selecting a club-level room to access the all-day amenities and 360 degree views in the club. It’s located harborside, closest to the pool complex.

The Yacht Club is exclusive to guests ages 16 and older. The décor honors the name and has nautical touches, and rooms have picturesque views of the harbor. Guests of the Yacht Club have full access to their own breakfast, so you can choose to either eat there in a more private adults-only space, or use your Virtuoso breakfast amenity at one of the other more public dining venues. It’s located harborside, connected to the Cloister.

Room at the Yacht Club
The Beach Club is sleek and beautiful, and is steps from the beach. Rooms are vibrant and fresh, with amazing views of the ocean. In addition to the beach club, there is also a pool complex and dining beachside so you don’t have to go far to enjoy the sun.
Lastly, the Bungalows are perfect for long-term stays. They offer space, full kitchens, and living amenities, and are great for travelers looking to stay for a few weeks. They are located about 10-minutes away from the main property on the harbor side.
The best part is that no matter which building you stay in, you have access to the entire resort. So if you are staying harborside, you can enjoy beach club access, or if you’re staying beachfront, you can enjoy the pool complex and more harborside.

Need to know
If you have an entire week to visit, you can easily fill and enjoy that time, but this can also be the perfect destination for a long weekend since it’s easy to get to from most major airports.
Navigating the buildings and best room setup can be overwhelming, and I’m here to help you sort through the best options for your group. Reach out for help planning your next trip to The Boca Raton, and to access VIP amenities throughout your stay.
