Curator’s statement
Just 30 minutes north of Seattle, the urban oasis of Everett serves as an ideal base for exploring the Great Pacific Northwest. This charming city offers a perfect blend of urban convenience and natural beauty. Perched on the western edge of Everett, the Hotel Indigo Seattle Everett Waterfront is a remarkable property, with 142 well-appointed and comfortable rooms. A cornerstone of the Waterfront Place development, it consistently exceeds expectations. The hotel provides a welcoming stay at a reasonable price, when compared to the bustling metropolis to the south. As a returning guest, I can confidently say the Hotel Indigo surpasses many luxury resorts. The friendly & helpful staff, extensive amenities and overall positive experience make it my top choice. It’s my appealing and dependable home away from home.

Hotel & amenities
The Hotel Indigo offers generously sized rooms for the region, with over 75% boasting breathtaking views of the water. Some rooms even feature small balconies, perfect for watching the sunset over Possession Sound.

Porthole mirrors
The entire hotel has a nautical theme, adorned with pictures of boats, buoys and other maritime elements in the rooms and hallways. Mirrors resembling large portholes line the lobby hallway, further enhancing the theme.

Nautical theme
Small, thoughtful touches abound at the hotel, like generous and wonderfully scented Zenology products in the bathrooms, and mini freezers near the elevators, stocked with individual and perfectly-sized ice bags, refreshingly without ice-drop and machinery sounds.
Rooms are equipped with comfortable beds and chairs with ottomans, and plush robes contribute to the hotel’s heightened level of comfort.

Room creature comforts
With its complimentary parking, consider the Hotel Indigo a relaxed and reliable alternative to Seattle’s congested streets and higher-priced hotels, with their metropolis-sized parking fees.
I highly recommend the well-equipped fitness area, featuring ellipticals, treadmills, recumbent bike and universal weight machine. Porthole windows let in abundant natural light. An indoor, heated, saltwater pool adds to the hotel’s amenities.

Access & surrounds
The hotel’s location is truly convenient. It’s just under an hour from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and a mere 15 minutes from Paine Field, making it easily accessible.
Waterfront Place, a 65-acre master-planned project, has been growing steadily over the past year, and, despite its size, is truly easy to navigate. Esplanades are ever increasing, and will guide patrons to top notch venues among five districts, including Fisherman’s Harbor, the Millwright District and the retail Wine Walk. A medical spa and hair salon are also community offerings.
Food and beverage
Stepping into the Hotel Indigo lobby, I’m always greeted warmly by the friendly staff at check-in. Notable too is a convenient lobby marketplace, well-stocked and providing a variety of quick snacks and drinks.
For more serious and flavorful fare, I usually head over to the hotel’s Jetty Bar & Grille for brunch or dinner. The Jetty Grille offers floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breathtaking views of the marina and Possession Sound.

Jetty Grille
There, I’ve savored Pacific cod and chips, Atlantic salmon with fresh steamed veggies and other tasty dishes, expertly prepared by the kitchen and delivered by attentive wait staff.
The Hotel Indigo is centrally located within Waterfront Place, just a 10-15 minute stroll from other great eateries and experiences. Fisherman Jack’s offers surprising Asian-inspired cuisine, South Fork Baking Co serves delectable baked goods and Scuttlebutt Brewing Co and Sound 2 Summit Taproom & Pizzeria provide great stops for pub crawling, starting with the hotel’s own, excellent Jetty Bar.
Activities & adventures
Beyond its superlative accommodations, the Hotel Indigo is at the doorstep of many wonderful businesses. There are numerous cafes, coffee houses and shops nearby and even an adjacent marina, the largest public marina on the West Coast, providing ample opportunities for water activities.
Next to the hotel is Pacific Rim Plaza, with its Splash Fountain play area adding an extra touch of fun for families. For those interested in learning and exploring, the Imagine Children’s Museum is just a 10-minute drive away, offering a fun and interactive experience for children of all ages. Stretching along the waterfront, the esplanades around the hotel provide perfect spots for leisurely strolls or energetic runs.
