Rocco Forte was founded by Sir Rocco Forte and his sister Olga Polizzi in the late 1990s. The first two hotels, The Balmoral in Edinburgh, and Hotel Savoy in Florence, opened in 1998, reflecting the family’s sophisticated British-Italian heritage.

Do all Rocco Forte Hotels participate in the Rocco Forte Knights program?
Yes. Each hotel is part of the Rocco Forte Knights program.

Can Rocco Forte Knights and Virtuoso travel benefits be applied to the same reservation?
No. Rocco Forte Knights benefits can’t be combined with Virtuoso perks, although the perks are generally similar. Your advisor will ensure that you get the best value when you book with them.
Can Rocco Forte Knights benefits be applied to an existing reservation?
It may be possible to add Rocco Forte Knights benefits to existing reservations. Your advisor can guide you through the process.
Can I book a Rocco Forte Knights reservation directly?

The Rocco Forte Knights reservation is equal to the best standard rate offered by the hotel. It’s worth noting that Knights perks generally can’t be applied on top of discounted rates, like corporate or rewards rates.
