Curator’s statement
Cabo has been part of my life for as long as I can remember—the setting for countless holidays, birthdays, and family milestones. We’ve returned year after year in every season, from winter mornings spent whale watching to sun-soaked summer days on the beach. Over time, it’s become more than a destination. It’s a place woven into our traditions and memories. This guide reflects the Cabo I know—familiar, celebratory, and timeless.

Things to do in Cabo

Whale watching (December–April): Cabo is one of the best places in the world for whale watching, with humpbacks and gray whales migrating close to shore. Seeing them up close never gets old and feels magical every single time.
Take a boat day on the Sea of Cortez: Charter a boat and cruise past El Arco and Land’s End, stopping to swim, snorkel, and spot marine life along the way. In the winter months, it’s not uncommon to see whales breaching just offshore.
Relax by the Pool: Some of my favorite moments in Cabo are the simplest—slow mornings and long afternoons spent by the pool, book in hand, with the sound of the ocean nearby.
Flora Farms cooking class: Set on a beautiful working farm in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains, Flora Farms’ cooking classes are as much about the experience as the food. You’ll cook with seasonal ingredients, sip wine, and enjoy a relaxed, communal meal at the end.
Day trip to San José del Cabo: Spend an afternoon wandering San José del Cabo’s historic center, known for its charming streets, art galleries, and relaxed pace. Thursday evenings are especially lively during the Art Walk.
Places to eat & drink in Cabo

Los Tres Gallos: A classic Cabo favorite known for its charming courtyard, live music, and consistently great margaritas. It’s the kind of place you return to year after year for a fun, lively dinner with friends.
Edith’s: A longtime Cabo staple famous for its festive atmosphere and standout grapefruit martinis. Tableside preparations, live music, and celebratory energy make it a lively spot for a memorable night out.
Flora Farms: One of Cabo’s most iconic dining experiences, offering true farm-to-table cuisine in a beautiful garden setting. Everything is seasonal, thoughtfully prepared, and meant to be lingered over.
Acre Baja: Set on a lush organic farm, Acre Baja blends elevated cuisine with a relaxed, outdoor atmosphere. It’s perfect for a long lunch or early dinner surrounded by palms and string lights.
La Lupita: A casual favorite for inventive tacos, mezcal, and a laid-back local vibe. It’s an easy, no-frills spot that’s great for a quick bite or a late-night stop.
Arbol: A splurge-worthy dining experience best enjoyed from a sunken booth overlooking the water. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic, making it ideal for a special night out.
El Farallon: One of Cabo’s most dramatic dining settings, perched on the cliffs above the ocean. It’s known for its ultra-fresh seafood and sweeping views, making it a true destination meal.
The Office: An iconic toes-in-the-sand spot right on Medano Beach, perfect for a casual lunch or sunset margarita. Come for the laid-back atmosphere, stay for the people-watching and classic Cabo energy.
Sea Grill at Las Ventanas: An elegant, oceanfront dining experience known for impeccably prepared seafood and refined service. It’s a wonderful choice for a romantic evening or special-occasion dinner with the sound of the waves in the background.
