Things to do in Las Vegas

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

  • Visiting the seasonal flower display at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a peaceful, visually beautiful experience, and dogs are welcome to stroll through with you.

  • Watching the fountains at the Fountains of Bellagio is a lovely moment to share together, especially in the evening when the atmosphere feels calm and cinematic.

  • When the weather is warm, walking through the connected hotels along the Strip offers a comfortable, air-conditioned way to explore while keeping your dog relaxed.

  • Spending time at the dog park at Vdara Hotel & Spa provides a convenient, well-maintained space for your dog to unwind just steps from the Strip.

  • Taking a short drive to Sunset Park offers open green space, walking paths, and a quieter setting that feels removed from the energy of the Strip while still being close by.

Places to eat & drink in Las Vegas

Hakkasan entrance

Dining in Las Vegas with a dog requires a bit of intention, as most restaurants limit indoor seating to service animals. That said, there are thoughtful exceptions and easy workarounds that allow you to enjoy the city’s culinary scene without compromise.

  • At Momofuku in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, dogs were welcomed during quieter times, and the pork ramen and lamb ribs quickly became favorites.

  • Just steps away, China Poblano offered a vibrant, flavor-driven experience—the tasting menu was a highlight, especially the chicken shumai and vegetable fried rice.

  • Over at Bellagio, Carbone Riviera delivered a more elevated evening. While fountain-view tables carry a minimum spend, it’s easily met, particularly with dishes like the lobster fettuccini—rich, indulgent, and best shared. Bringing your own wine is also an option, with a corkage fee, provided it’s not already on their list.

Skylofts & Hakkasan

For a more private and seamless experience, staying at Skylofts at MGM Grand allows most restaurants to be delivered directly to your suite, eliminating any concern about pet policies altogether.

One notable exception is Hakkasan, which is worth visiting in person. The Las Vegas location lives up to its reputation—while slightly more understated than its Dubai counterpart, the flavors are just as refined. The “Taste of Hakkasan” menu was perfectly portioned for two, with standouts including the Hakka basket, General Tso’s, and black pepper filet. During quieter times, even here, your dog may be welcomed, adding a layer of ease to an otherwise refined dining experience.

Need to know

If you’re considering bringing your dog to Las Vegas, it’s absolutely worth it—especially with a stay at Skylofts at MGM Grand. We experienced suites at Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and Skylofts; while Bellagio and the Cosmopolitan offer beautiful design and iconic views, the level of care at Skylofts truly stands apart.

What made the difference was how naturally and warmly they welcomed our dog. A bed was thoughtfully prepared, and the staff consistently acknowledged him with genuine kindness. He quickly settled in, completely at ease—it felt less like a hotel stay and more like being at home.
