Day 1: Arrival & dinner

Arrive in the late afternoon and check into your hotel or vacation house. Take some time to settle in, unpack, and ease into vacation mode before heading out for your first dinner of the trip. A great place to start the weekend is Palm Beach Grill, a longtime Palm Beach favorite known for its lively atmosphere and consistently great food. It’s the perfect first-night spot, upscale but relaxed and always buzzing with locals and visitors alike. After dinner, take a short walk around the area or along the water before heading back to rest up for the weekend ahead.
Day 2: Pilates, beach day & a fun night out

Start the morning with a Pilates class to kick off the day feeling energized. If you’re staying at a house, one of the best ways to do this is by having a private instructor come to you for a class by the pool. Afterward, spend the rest of the morning enjoying a relaxed pool or beach day. Palm Beach has beautiful stretches of sand and it’s easy to spend hours swimming, reading, and soaking up the sunshine.
For lunch, make a stop at Buccan Sandwich Shop, a must-try spot in town. It’s casual but incredibly good and a favorite among locals. The chopped cheese sandwich and buffalo chicken sandwich are both standout options, and the homemade chips are a must! If you’re staying in a house, you can even order for delivery to enjoy by the pool.
Later in the afternoon, head to The Breakers Palm Beach for happy hour. The bar is a beautiful setting for a pre-dinner drink and a great place to soak in some classic Palm Beach elegance while watching the sunset.
For dinner, reserve a table at Lola 41, a lively restaurant known for its great martinis and creative menu. Some must-order dishes include the scallop crudo, Asian chicken salad, and tuna crispy rice. Make sure to save room for dessert as well!
If you’re up for going out afterward, end the night at Mary Lou’s Palm Beach. It’s a fun spot with great music and a lively crowd, and at midnight they hand out warm cookies, which makes the whole experience even better.
Day 3: Brunch, shopping & a boat day

Start the day with brunch at Swifty’s at The Colony Hotel, one of the most iconic brunch spots in town. You must get a French toast for the table. It’s a fun, energetic place to start the day.
After brunch, spend some time strolling and shopping along Worth Avenue, one of the most beautiful shopping streets in the country. The stunning covered courtyards, hidden alleyways, and luxury boutiques make it a destination in itself. If you need a second coffee along the way, stop by Drift for a quick caffeine break.
In the afternoon, head to the marina for a boat day. Spending time out on the water is one of the best ways to experience Palm Beach—cruising along the coast, passing waterfront mansions, and stopping for a swim along the way.
For your final dinner of the trip, book a table at Renato’s, a beloved Italian restaurant known for its charming courtyard setting and classic dishes. The spaghettini fradiavolo and rigatoni alla vodka are both excellent choices, and the olive bread is incredible.
Day 4: Brunch & departure

Before heading home, enjoy one last brunch at Henry’s Palm Beach. The pretzel pigs in a blanket and mac and cheese are great to share, and the chicken sandwich is another favorite on the menu.
After brunch, take advantage of a little last-minute pool or beach time before packing up and departing. It’s the perfect relaxed ending to a long weekend in Palm Beach!
Need to know
Palm Beach is relatively small and easy to get around, but having a car or arranging Ubers will make it easier to move between West Palm Beach and the island, especially for dinners and nights out.
Reservations are highly recommended, particularly in season (December through April). Restaurants tend to book up quickly, so planning ahead will ensure you get the best dining times.
Palm Beach style leans polished but relaxed. During the day, resort wear and beach attire fit right in, while evenings tend to be a bit dressier—think sundresses, linen, and fun heels or loafers for dinners and nights out.
Palm Beach is all about enjoying the slower pace, lingering over brunch, taking long beach walks, and soaking up the sunshine before heading home refreshed.
