Things to do in Nashville

Niko Moon at Brooklyn Bowl
One year we got tickets to see Jimmy Buffett perform at the Bridgestone Arena for New Year’s Eve. It was epic. There were other big-name artists performing all around the city. If you’re looking for exciting ways to celebrate the holidays, Nashville is the place to do it.
We went to a Niko Moon concert at a venue called Brooklyn Bowl, and the tickets were only $25 per person. With a capacity of roughly 1,200 people, it occupies two levels, has 19 bowling lanes, four full bars, a full-service restaurant, and a scenic patio overlooking the ballpark. It was a really cool spot to see a concert.
Get tickets to a live show or take a tour of the Ryman Auditorium, which is known as “mother church” and former home of the Grand Ole Opry
Visit the Grand Ole Opry, an iconic live country music stage that’s been running since 1925.
Take a walk down Broadway Street day or night and stop in some of the honky-tonks to hear live music.
Eat the food.

Need to know
The ideal times for travel are spring (April–June) and fall (September–October): pleasant weather and lots of festivals.
Summer is peak season, with high energy and packed events (think CMA Fest in June), heavier crowds, and higher hotel rates. It can also get hot.
Winter is quieter and more affordable, though January–February can feel slower in terms of events. It’s a great time for travelers who appreciate less crowds and colder weather.
