Things to do in Greece

Catamaran cruise on the Mediterranean, visiting out-of-the-way locations. Wandering tiny alleys, finding that unique shop or perfect glass of wine. Learning about history, from the Byzantines to the Venetians and then the Ottomans. Stumbling upon areas where new historical excavation sites have been set up. Learning to cook on a sustainable farm with local ingredients. The history of the Greek Gods and how that transitioned to many monasteries honoring Saints in the Greek Orthodox Religion.

Kinsterna: Mouries Michelin Key member with fresh food and herbs grown on site.
Need to know
We traveled mid-October and things were beginning to shut down for the season, although the weather was great in the mid 70s. Crete and the mainland stay more active, but in Crete almost everyone owns olive trees and the harvest is late October to the first few weeks of November. Some tour guides stop during harvest season.
