Curator’s statement
Bermuda holds a special place in my travels because it offers the perfect balance of convenience and escape—a quick sail from New York/New Jersey Harbor transforms into days spent on pink-sand beaches and exploring a rich island culture. I’ve cruised to Bermuda on multiple lines, from Carnival and Celebrity to Virgin Voyages, with Norwegian on the horizon, and each trip has revealed a new layer of the island’s charm. Whether it’s watching the skyline fade behind the ship, catching a sunset from Horseshoe Bay, or taking the private ferry from Newstead Belmont Hills into Hamilton, Bermuda always delivers moments of magic. This is a destination I return to again and again, and I love helping clients discover the version of Bermuda that’s perfect for them.

Need to know
While there are a handful of things to do right at the Royal Naval Dockyard—like browsing shops, grabbing a bite at Frog & Onion Pub, or visiting Snorkel Park Beach—the best way to experience Bermuda is to plan an excursion or venture beyond the port. Whether it’s Horseshoe Bay’s pink sands, Hamilton’s lively Front Street, or a catamaran sail across turquoise waters, you’ll get a far richer feel for the island by going further afield.
For those sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a unique perk is their dedicated water taxi service that connects the Dockyard with other parts of the island, including Hamilton and St. George’s. It’s a convenient and scenic way to explore without relying on taxis, which can be expensive in Bermuda.
As your advisor, I help clients choose the best excursions, day passes, and dining experiences to match their style—whether that means a luxury resort pool day, a round of golf, or a deep-sea fishing adventure with your fresh catch served that evening. Booking ahead ensures you skip the crowds and make the most of your time on this stunning island.
