Curator’s statement

As a self proclaimed ski bum, Park City is by far my favorite ski destination. My husband and I just purchased a condo at the base of Park City Mountain. We have lots of family memories that we have already created in PC and are looking forward to many more to come. Love to share all the great places I've eaten and great skiing I've done because Park City is my happy place.

Things to do in Park City, Utah

ski slopes
  • Ski endless terrain at Park City Mountain Resort - This mountain is huge since they have combined Park City Mountain and The Canyons resorts. Insider tip - beat the line on the gondola by taking the Orange Bubble lift up first thing in the morning.

  • Check out the awesome art galleries and shops on Main Street.

  • One of the coolest and most unique things in Park City is that you can ski down to the center of town. Grab lunch or a cocktail at High West Distillery.

  • Check out the aprés ski scene in Canyons Village. Relax at the mountain base with a cocktail and live music in the background.

  • If Park City Mountain isn't enough terrain for you, you are within stones throw of a number of other amazing ski resorts. Some of my favorites include Alta, Snowbird, Powder Mountain and Solitude.

  • Check out the beautiful Stein Erickson Lodge at Deer Valley.

  • On a day off from skiing, check out the new High West Distillery at the new Auberge property, The Lodge at Blue Sky.

  • Get a relaxing massage at The Grand Summit Spa.

Places to eat & drink in Park City, Utah

Lunch

  • High West Saloon - Don't miss out on the french onion soup and wings. Do a flight whiskey tasting or grab one of their amazing cocktails.

  • Cloud Dine - If you are eating on mountain, stop at Cloud Dine on the top of the Dreamscape and Dreamcatcher lifts.

  • Stein Erickson Lodge - A once in a trip lunch experience where you can unbuckle your boots and relax with one of their monster Bloody Mary's.

Dinner

  • Firewood - Easily my favorite restaurant in Park City. They really make it an incredible dining experience all around. Check out the speakeasy type bar in the basement for pre-dinner cocktails.

  • Cortona - Very casual old school Italian type restaurant with amazing food. They have a bar but you can BYO for a corkage fee. Don't miss out on the lasagna and shrimp arrabbiata (the sauce is incredible).

  • Dos Olas - Mexican restaurant located in The Pendry in Canyons Village. Very authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend the chips & salsa and chicken enchiladas. The Pica Mucho cocktail was excellent.

Aprés ski

  • Red Tail Grill - Located in The Grand Summit at the base of Park City Mountains on the Canyons Side. Great place to relax after a day of skiing with a cocktail. Convenient if you have kids; you can just grab them from ski school and head over. Outdoor seating available with fire pits.

Snacks

  • Java Cow - Best ice cream shop in Park City; great place to take the kids.
