Curator’s statement
Grenada isn’t just a place you visit—it’s a place you feel. What draws me in every time is how naturally the island balances ease, culture, and that sense of connection you don’t have to chase. One minute you’re wandering through markets that smell like nutmeg and cocoa, and the next you’re drifting in calm, clear water or eating a home‑cooked meal that tastes like it came straight from someone’s family kitchen. This guide is a collection of the spots and moments that, to me, show Grenada’s true character—the quiet corners, the friendly faces, the slow starts to the day, the little surprises that stay with you. It’s shaped by the way I like to travel: with intention, curiosity, and an eye for the experiences that actually move you.

Things to do in Grenada

Wild Orchid Bar provided the drink; Annandale Falls provided the view
Tree‑to‑bar tour at Belmont Estate
Highly recommend visiting the Belmont Estate. You'll learned how to spot the ripe pods and crack a few open to taste the fresh, slimy beans straight from the shell. You will also see how the beans are fermented and dried, as well as learn the old tradition of “dancing” on them. The best part of the tour is a lineup of tastings, from smooth chocolate to those classic Grenadian cocoa balls.
Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park
Snorkel or dive through the world’s first underwater sculpture park. A fun, peaceful, slightly eerie, and completely mesmerizing experience. A highlight for me!
Island hop to Carriacou & Petite Martinique
Take a day trip to Grenada’s sister islands for pristine beaches, colorful villages, and a glimpse of super laid-back Caribbean life at its most authentic.
Spice foodie tour
Book yourself a food tour with a local and taste your way through the “Spice Isle” with stops at local markets, street vendors, and family‑run spots that showcase Grenada’s bold flavors and culinary traditions. Two of my favorite street foods were the oil down (a stew of breadfruit, coconut milk, turmeric, dumplings, and meats) and roti (flaky flatbread wrapped around curried chicken, beef, or vegetables).
Hiking in Grand Etang National Park
If you're into hiking, this one's for you. You'll love walking through rainforest trails and spotting wildlife. At Grand Etang National Park, you will have views of volcanic lakes and mountain landscapes all in the heart of the island.
Walk the colorful streets of St. George’s (The Carenage)
Take a walk along the historic waterfront lined with pastel buildings, fishing boats, and lively local shops.
Relax at the beaches
Rent a car for the day and go beach hopping. Spend the day relaxing at Paradise beach, Grand Anse beach, Morne Rouge beach, and Behind Sands beach.
Visit Annandale Falls
Enjoy a swim in one of Grenada’s most accessible and picturesque waterfalls. While here, stop at Wild Orchid Bar for lunch and enjoy the view. Oh, and don't forget to stop for a photo op with Annandale's welcoming monkeys.
Places to eat & drink in Grenada

Dinner at Sea Fire Restaurant
Sea Fire Restaurant (Six Senses Grenada)
Sea Fire had this bright, modern coastal vibe that felt instantly inviting. The grilled seafood was the highlight for me—especially the ceviche and the charred octopus—and the tropical mocktail with fresh herbs pulled the whole meal together.
Rhodes Restaurant at Calabash
A must-try while in Grenada. Dining at Rhodes feels elegant but not stuffy. I’d go back for the catch of the day with local spices and the pumpkin soup; a fresh fruit spritzer is the perfect pairing.
Laluna Italian Restaurant
Laluna’s Italian restaurant blends rustic charm with island warmth—handmade pastas, rich sauces, and garden-fresh ingredients. Pro tip: Order the gnocchi and seafood linguine. Before leaving, make sure to stop by the bar and order their Hugo Spritz.
61° West Restaurant (Grand Anse Beach)
61° West is all about relaxed beachfront dining with bold, flavorful dishes. I really enjoyed the grilled fish tacos and the fresh salads. Another favorite of mine were the barbecue ribs with sweet potato fries. Pro tip: Go for the food, stay for the sunset.
Azzurro (Grand Anse)
Azzurro serves bright, Mediterranean-inspired dishes with a Caribbean twist. Pro tip: Order the wood-fired pizzas and fresh seafood pasta.
The Aquarium Restaurant (Magazine Beach)
The Aquarium offers open-air dining right on the water. The seafood here is amazing. I loved their whole grilled fish.
Grenada street food
Grenada’s street food scene is full of color and flavor—think freshly grilled fish, roti, bakes, and spice-rich stews served with a smile.
