Advisor - Five Perfect Days in St. Barth: Chic Beaches, Long Lunches & Glamorous Nights
Curator’s statement

Here’s the thing about St. Barth: it’s glamorous, yes, but it’s also surprisingly easy. Once you’re here, the only real decisions are whether to have rosé with lunch (the answer is yes) and how late you’ll stay out at Le Ti (that one’s optional). I love this island for the way it makes you feel like a regular by day three, even if you’ve never been before. This five-day itinerary is the exact flow I’d follow to balance beaches, long lunches, and just enough sparkle at night.

Where to stay

Unlock perks by contacting Kate to book your trip.

Day 1: Arrive

Arrive, drop your bags, and head for the sea. Rosewood’s lagoon and Cheval Blanc’s Flamands Beach are perfect for your first swim. Keep the afternoon light, then head into Gustavia for dinner at Bonito. Ask for a table timed with sunset. The view over the harbor and a round of ceviche set the perfect tone for the week.

Day 2: Private boat charter

Start your morning on the water with a private boat charter. Swim in hidden coves, sip a glass of rosé, and see the island from the sea. Be back in time for Nikki Beach, where Sunday afternoons are a full scene. Expect DJs, dancing, and more champagne than you thought possible. If you prefer a softer landing, go later in the day for cocktails and people-watching.

Day 3: Indulge

Begin with a spa treatment at the Cheval Blanc Spa by Guerlain or Rosewood’s wellness sanctuary. Both offer the kind of indulgence that makes you lose track of time. In the afternoon, head into Gustavia for shopping. Stop at Montaigne Market for high-fashion finds or browse the smaller boutiques for swimwear and linen that feels at home on the island. End the day at Tamarin, where the garden glows with lanterns and the setting is pure magic.

Day 4: Take it easy

Take it easy today. Swim in the morning, then book a table at Eden Rock Sand Bar for a late lunch. The truffle pizza is as good as everyone says. Stay afterward with a cocktail in hand and let the afternoon drift. This is St. Barth at its most effortless: polished without trying.

Day 5: Last day leisure

Spend your last day with sand between your toes. Lunch at Gyp Sea is boho and barefoot, with lobster as the star. After a rest, head to L’Isola for a final dinner of perfect pasta in a moody, candlelit room. If you are still standing, close your trip at Le Ti. Costumes, glitter, and late-night dancing guaranteed.

Need to know

  • Book restaurants, beach clubs, boats, and spa appointments before you arrive.

  • Taxis are limited, so let your hotel arrange them or rent a compact car.

  • August through October is low-season and many businesses close. Winter is peak glamour, fall feels like a secret, and May to June is calm but still chic.

  • Pack linen, reef-safe sunscreen, and sandals. High heels are not required.
