Things to do in Vail

Skiing on Vail Mountain

Skiing/snowboarding: What you probably know Vail for best, and there’s a good reason for it. Vail Mountain is the largest skiable area in Colorado, and you can ski across the entire mountain by using the 33 lifts. It’s known for its legendary back bowls, and it’s suitable for skiers of all levels.

Hiking & biking: In the summer months, Vail Mountain turns into the perfect spot for mountain biking and hiking. Similarly to the winter, there is plentiful terrain to cover.

Shopping: Between Vail Village and Lionshead, there are plenty of shops to explore and keep busy if you’re a non-skier. You can easily walk or take the local bus between both town centers. Highly recommend checking out Kemo Sabe to design a custom hat.

Spa & wellness: Across the many luxury hotels in Vail, there are several wonderful spas to indulge in massages, facials, saunas, oxygen bars and more.

Enjoy a show: In the summer months, you can enjoy a full schedule of concerts and shows at the Gerald R Ford Amphitheater (the Amp).
