Curator’s statement

Boston is the perfect combination of city life, water views and history! With exceptional sports, picturesque outdoor spaces and interactive museums, it's a dream family trip. My kids particularly enjoyed seeing the Red Sox at Fenway and having a Fenway Frank!

Go to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum and reenact history by throwing tea into the harbor.

Take a swan boat ride in the gorgeous Boston Common Park.

Check out where Paige the squirrel lives in the cutest book store. Beacon Hill Books has the best children's section on the top floor with an operating toy train, old-school typewriter and secret doors for Paige! There is also the cutest cafe underneath.

Take the T to Harvard for a stroll around the grounds and a scavenger hunt at the Harvard Art Museums. The collection is quite impressive, and the kids love searching for the scavenger hunt items in the paintings and sculptures.

Day trip option: Take a ferry to Cape Cod.

Places to eat & drink in Boston

Go to Contessa for gorgeous rooftop views, amazing drinks (the wine list is incredible!) and delicious Italian fare.

Rebel's Guild has the best breakfast/brunch! Get the hash or blueberry pancakes.

Grab a bite at any of the amazing vendors at Quincy Market.

Eat a lobster roll and clam chowder at Boston Sail Loft.
