Need to know
As of 2003, Tulum has its own airport, offering flights to various US cities. Upon arrival, you can exchange currency and easily arrange a taxi to your hotel. The journey takes about 40 minutes to reach the heart of Tulum.
Tulum is extremely hot and humid. It is best practice to bring sunscreen and water with you every you go
To avoid getting sick, it's best to refrain from drinking tap water. When dining at restaurants, ensure the ice is from a store-bought bag, as homemade ice may be made from tap water. It's also recommended to brush your teeth using bottled water.
