Curator’s statement

Bermuda is one of those islands that most people forget about. Not in the Caribbean chain, this amazingly close, friendly, and beautiful island is a real joy to experience. Elevated and luxurious, yet subtle and charming, it really does have something for everyone! It is also an easy acclimation—there are no unique plugs needed, the dollar is accepted everywhere, and everyone speaks English. Bermuda has no shortage of things to do: golf, biking, watersports, and boating. With all of this, you will want to return again and again and again.

Where to stay

Unlock perks by contacting Stephanie to book your trip.

Day 1: Arrival day

Breezes Restaurant

Check into the Cambridge Beaches Hotel. After enjoying your complimentary rum swizzle, have lunch by the pool and enjoy all the watersports and activities on-site. Pro tip: Book a cottage on the west side of the property to get the best sunset views! Pick up your EV mini-car rental right there on the property through Oleander Cycles (reservations in advance are required). This is a wonderful way to see the island without having to pay for taxis. Rent it for the whole stay. Close out the day with dinner alfresco at Breezes. Pro tip: Book for just around sunset!

Day 2: Beach day

Horseshoe Bay Beach

Start the day with breakfast at Shoreline Restaurant on the property and then head out in your EV mini-vehicle for a day of beach-hopping. Bermuda is famous for its pink sand beaches, and there is literally no shortage of beautiful spots to enjoy. Horseshoe Bay is probably the most famous beach, but be warned that it is crowded with cruise folks, making it a bit challenging to get a paid lounge chair. We recommend a quick stay before heading over to Warwick Long Bay. This is a no-amenities beach, with deep pink sand. The views are amazing, and there are no crowds! (Remember to grab a towel from your hotel.) From there, take a drive to Aurora at Newstead Belmont Hills for a leisurely alfresco lunch overlooking the Hamilton marina. Spend the rest of the day exploring!

Day 3: Royal Naval Dockyard and Victoria Park

Royal Naval Dockyard

Head over to the Royal Naval Dockyard and catch the $9 roundtrip ferry over to the city of Hamilton for shopping, exploring, and eating. This is a wonderful way to see the shoreline and get some boat time out on the water. Grab a late take-away lunch at Devil’s Isle Coffee and then head over to Victoria Park and sit and enjoy the beautiful sculptures and landscaping—an oasis in the middle of a bustling, small city. Upon returning to the Royal Naval Dockyard, wander around for more fun. On your way back to the hotel, stop off at the Glass Beach. Pro tip: Park your EV at one of the small park-like coves and walk to the beach. Head back for some R&R before taking a taxi to The Loren for an alfresco dinner by the sea.

Pro tips

Gratuity is typically included in your final bill, so you are not required to add an extra tip unless you receive spectacular service.

Fill out your arrival card before going through immigration. Beware of any sites that ask you to pay—the form is free!

Taxis after 10 pm apply a surcharge.

Beeping in Bermuda is a positive gesture. Vehicles beep to say “hi” or to give a kind go-ahead.

The island drives on the left-hand side, so be cautious when driving your EV mini-vehicle.

When swimming, be sure you are aware of your surroundings. Man o’ war jellyfish are abundant.
