Things to do in St. Barths

Rent a boat for the day: There’s no better way to soak in the island’s beauty than from the water. Chartering a boat lets you explore hidden coves, swim in crystal-clear lagoons and even spot sea turtles along the coast. Add champagne, a gourmet picnic and a sunset sail, and you’ve got an unforgettable day in paradise.

Cruise the island in a moke: Renting a moke — a fun, open-air mini Jeep — is a classic St. Barths experience. It’s a fun way to zip around the island, beach-hop and take in the stunning scenery at your own pace. However, hills can be challenging, so I would recommend as a one-day excursion rather than your full week rental!

Shopping in Gustavia: Gustavia, the chic harbor town, is a shopper’s dream. From designer boutiques and fine jewelry to beachy boho finds, it’s the perfect place to indulge. Browse luxury labels or discover local gems, with super yachts as your backdrop.

Nikki Beach Amazing Sundays: Sunday at Nikki Beach is a St. Barths tradition. Think lively beats, champagne showers and dancing on tables. It’s part beach club, part dance club and 100 percent iconic island fun. If you’re in town on a Sunday, this is the place to be and the second 3:30 pm seating is a must!

Hike to Toiny Point: For a more off-the-beaten-path adventure, hike to Toiny Point. The coastal trail leads you past dramatic cliffs, natural pools and breathtaking ocean views. It’s a peaceful contrast to the glam of the island. Afterwards, grab lunch at the amazing Le Toiny Beach Club.

Places to eat & drink in St. Barths

Tamarind: Tucked in a lush tropical setting, Tamarind serves up fresh, French-inspired cuisine in a chic yet serene atmosphere. Think truffle scallop risotto under the stars and handcrafted cocktails beside a koi pond — a hidden gem with a zen vibe.

Le Café: Le Café is the place to be in Gustavia! This French restaurant turns into the ultimate party on weekends — be sure to book the second seating to catch the DJ and live singer. By the end of the night, you’ll be out of your seat and dancing!

Bonito: Perched above Gustavia Harbor, Bonito blends French finesse with Latin American flavors in a dreamy, whitewashed setting. With panoramic views and creative cocktails, it’s a St. Barth staple for stylish dinners with a view.

Abyss: Abyss is an intimate seafood restaurant known for its relaxed vibe and elevated cuisine. Live music on select evenings adds to the ambiance — perfect for a mellow yet memorable night out.

Shellona: Beachy and beautiful, Shellona is a daytime hotspot on Shell Beach serving Mediterranean bites, bottles of rosé and DJ sets that match the rhythm of the waves. A barefoot-luxury kind of vibe you won’t want to leave.

Sereno Al Mare: Located at Le Sereno Hotel. Al Mare is an elegant yet breezy beachfront restaurant offering refined Italian cuisine with a Caribbean twist. From handmade pastas to fresh crudo, it’s a relaxed luxury — all just steps from the sea.

Need to know

When it comes to traveling to St. Barth, getting there is part of the adventure — but with Tradewind Aviation, it becomes part of the luxury. Offering semi-private and private flights from San Juan (SJU) directly into St. Barth’s legendary Gustaf III Airport, Tradewind is hands-down the most seamless and stylish way to arrive.
