Saugatuck in the fall is known for its stunning autumn foliage, which transforms the state’s forests into a picturesque “kaleidoscope of brilliant colors” with the peak color often occurring in October. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, bike rides, sand dune rides, cider tasting, shopping, and strolling along the Lake Michigan shoreline at Oval Beach. Holland can be described as a waterfront city on Lake Michigan with a distinct Dutch heritage, a vibrant downtown, and award-winning attractions.
