Curator’s statement

My husband and I had an amazing weekend getaway in the Hudson Valley. We were able to enjoy all of our favorite activities, golf/tennis/hiking, while also getting to relax a bit by the pool. The restaurants and cocktails were also exceptional and made for a really special two days away.

Breakfast

  • Bread Alone Bakery - Located in Rhinebeck. They have solid breakfast options to order at the counter and either take out or eat there. I had an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich which really hit the spot.

Dinner

Terrapin - Located in Rhinebeck. Known for its locally sourced ingredients. The horseradish crusted tuna was amazing.

Lunch

  • Saunderskill Farms - Grab a quick sandwich at Saunderskill Farms down the street from Inness if you don't want a full sit down lunch. They have great sandwich options and homemade bakery items. They also have seasonal events and pick your own fruits/vegetables depending on the season.

  • Mariner's Harbor - We stopped at Mariner's Harbor for lunch on our way back to NJ. Great seafood spot with an outdoor patio and outdoor bar.

Breakfast/Dinner

  • The Restaurant at Inness - Have outstanding breakfast and dinner options. Try to grab a table on the outside porch looking directly into the mountains.
