Neuschwanstein Castle
Oktoberfest in Munich is the world’s largest celebration of Bavarian culture. Head over to the Theresienwiese festival grounds, where you can enjoy carnival rides, food stands, food and beer tents, traditional German attire, traditional German music and dancing, and much more! Oktoberfest tends to begin in September, ending in early to mid-October.
Marienplatz, located in the heart of Munich, is a vibrant square known for its stunning architecture, including the New Town Hall with its famous Glockenspiel. This bustling hub is a focal point for local culture, shopping, and dining, offering a vivid glimpse into the city’s rich history and lively atmosphere.
The Englischer Garten in Munich is one of the largest urban parks in the world, offering lush green landscapes, serene lakes, and picturesque walking paths. It’s a popular spot for both locals and tourists to enjoy activities like picnicking, cycling, and even surfing on the Eisbach River.
