Need to know
Best airport: Fly into John Wayne (SNA) for the quickest access (about 25 minutes away). LAX and SAN are alternatives, but expect longer drives and traffic.
Getting around: Parking near Doheny can be limited. Use the festival shuttle (like from Renaissance ClubSport) or rideshares. Plan ahead for post-festival waits.
What to pack: Sun hat, reef-safe sunscreen, refillable water bottle, light layers (warm afternoons, cool evenings). Sand-friendly shoes are a must.
Festival essentials: Bring a small clear bag, portable charger, and a blanket or towel for sitting on the beach between sets.
Weather: Southern California in late September = sunny with highs in the 70s–80s, cool ocean breezes at night.
