Need to know

Grand Cayman is safe, easy to navigate, and English-speaking, making it especially stress-free for travelers. US dollars are widely accepted, and the island runs on British-style outlets, so a power adapter may be helpful. Renting a car is a great option if you want to explore beyond Seven Mile Beach—just remember, they drive on the left! Be sure to pack reef-safe sunscreen to protect the island’s marine life, and consider booking popular activities like Stingray City or bioluminescent bay tours in advance, as they can fill up quickly. Lastly, don’t skip the local food—Cayman-style fish and plantains are a must-try!
