Curator’s statement
This was the first girls' trip I went on in years with a newer group of friends. It was also my first trip to Aspen and my first time skiing. I also went outside of my comfort zone and rode a snowmobile through the mountains!

Day 1: Arrive & settle in

A local store in Aspen
Once everyone has arrived and you've checked into your hotel or resort, take some time to rest. Explore the surrounding area to discover a nice spot for lunch and/or dinner. Additionally, keep an eye out for any local shops or vendors that you might want to visit.
Day 2: Hit the slopes

If you're a first-time skier, there are many ski resorts that provide lessons. You can easily reach the slope pickup site using local public transportation or private transport. Once you arrive, you can rent your skis and take a lesson. The ski resort also features a cafeteria where you can enjoy lunch, warm up, or take a brief rest.
Day 3: Take a snowmobile tour

Go on a snowmobile tour for an unforgettable adventure! They will hold a safety briefing to ensure everyone is prepared, so be sure to dress warmly to withstand the wind and potential snow drafts. The scenery is absolutely stunning! Riding the snowmobile is thrilling and allows you to truly immerse yourself in nature.
Day 4: Visit an art museum

There’s the Denver Art Museum, Museum of Illusions, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Each museum offers art from local artists as well as artists from around the world. Afterwards, grab lunch, then relax with a massage at your hotel or resort.
Need to know
If you do not have ski apparel—pants, gloves, goggles—there are shops in town where you can purchase gear (including second-hand options). There are also websites where you can rent gear if you are just traveling for the weekend.
