Things to do in Vietnam

  • Ba Na Hills and Sun World: The most doable day tour. The Sun World is a vibrant, full-of-energy tourist hot spot located at over 5,000 feet. There are unbelievable food options up at the top. The Golden Bridge is a stunning sight to behold. It is a must-do!

  • Train Street: You can’t miss this when in Hanoi. This is a vibrant street with cafes all around it and a train passing in between. It is an unforgettable experience and a proper Instagrammable moment every time the rail passes.

  • Spa and massage: As said, a perfect alternative for Thailand. Foot and body massages are spread all across the country and at a very reasonable price. Golden Spa is a must-visit in Da Nang. Very kind and good therapists.

  • Ninh Binh, Hoa Lu Day Tour: This tour route begins from Hanoi as you trek across unbelievably beautiful temples as well as a boating tour to cap it off with a hike. This experience gives incredible views of the city of Hoa Lu. A recommended tour from Hanoi.

Places to eat & drink in Vietnam

  • Mixue: Excellent collection of Iced Teas and mocktails.

  • Hong Hoai’s: Authentic Vietnamese restaurants with seriously good dishes.

  • Hanoi night market: A great walking market to discover different types of street food and souvenirs from a wide range of vendors.

Need to know

The City of Hanoi sleeps early but wakes up early, too. It is safe to be around at night. Taxis are cheap and drivers are humble. You can book taxis using the GRAB app.
