Curator’s statement
Grand Cayman holds a deeply personal place in my heart after more than 25 years of returning to its shores. It’s a place where gorgeous beaches, vibrant reefs, and unforgettable sunsets blend seamlessly with a laid-back Caribbean rhythm. I love how safe and family-friendly it feels, while still offering endless activities on both land and sea. It’s a destination that continues to evolve with me, yet always feels like home.

Things to do in Grand Cayman

Stingray City is an unforgettable snorkeling experience set in some of the clearest water you’ll ever see. Floating above the shallow sandbar, you’re surrounded by brilliant shades of blue and excellent visibility that makes snorkeling feel effortless and immersive. It’s an easy, accessible adventure for all ages and a perfect introduction to Grand Cayman’s vibrant marine environment. The combination of warm water, open skies, and iconic setting makes it one of the island’s coolest experiences.
Bioluminescent Bay feels truly otherworldly. As you move through the dark water, every splash and paddle lights up in a soft blue glow. I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere else—it’s simple, quiet, and completely magical. It’s the kind of experience that leaves you in awe without needing a single word.
Starfish Point is beautifully simple and calm. The shallow, clear water is dotted with bright starfish resting quietly on the sandy bottom. There’s nothing rushed or flashy here—just nature exactly as it’s meant to be. It gently pulls you into the moment and reminds you how peaceful simplicity can feel.
Grand Cayman is widely considered one of the best places on earth for scuba diving, thanks to crystal-clear water, dramatic wall dives, and vibrant marine life just offshore. Divers of all levels are drawn here for the visibility, calm conditions, and world-class reefs that make every dive unforgettable.
The beach at Rum Point is a must-do. The calm, crystal-clear water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and paddleboarding, making it ideal for all ages. You can relax in a hammock under the palms, enjoy a casual beachside lunch, or sip a drink with your toes in the sand. It’s the perfect mix of laid-back beauty and easy island fun, all in one spot.
Places to eat & drink in Grand Cayman

Kaibo Beach Club
Tukka: I’ve been coming to Tukka for years, even spending Christmas dinner here, which says everything about how special it is to me. The kids love trying new things on the menu, and it always feels fun, relaxed, and welcoming. You truly can’t beat dinner on the sand with the ocean nearby and that easy island vibe all around. The Shoe Tree and neighborhood iguana are must-sees while dining here.
Kaibo Beach Club: Dinner at Kaibo Beach Club is all about unforgettable sunsets and an easy, barefoot-on-the-sand vibe. Watching the sky change colors as the sun sets over the water makes every meal feel special and unhurried. And you truly can’t beat their s’mores pizza—warm dark chocolate, roasted marshmallow, and coconut coming together in the most delicious, unexpected way.
Calypso Grill: Lunch at Calypso Grill is the perfect follow-up to a fun morning at Dolphin Cove. Sitting by the water, still buzzing from the dolphin experience, the relaxed island atmosphere makes everyone instantly unwind. It’s always fun watching the kids try something new—like octopus for the first time—and realizing they actually love it.
Coccoloba Bar and Grill: Lunch or dinner at Coccoloba Bar and Grill is pure beachfront fun on Seven-Mile Beach. The standout dish is their fresh ceviche—bright, citrusy, and incredibly refreshing, perfectly matching the island vibe. It’s easy, relaxed, and tastes even better with the waves rolling in nearby.
Bonny Moon Beach Club: Dinner at Bonny Moon Beach Club is classic beach club energy right on Seven Mile Beach, where ocean breezes and laid-back vibes set the tone. One standout favorite is their wood-fired flatbread with chorizo and caramelized onions—warm, savory, and perfect for sharing after a swim.
